I live down the street from this location and come here maybe once a month or so. Usually the service is pretty good. I remember being served by Chris a few months ago and had no complaints. I’ve also sat at the bar a few times and gotten good service by the male bartender with curly hair. Tonight we were served by the male bartender with the low cut and I honestly would’ve preferred that he told us the bar was closed. That way we could’ve had a server that would’ve been more attentive. When we walked up to the bar only one stool was available so I sat while my boyfriend waited for another customer next to us to gather his things and leave. The bartender looked dead at us, didn’t greet us. My bf had to ask that we be given menus. He gave us one menu, when we’re clearly a couple. My bf had to also ask for another menu. The bartender was on his phone right in front of us and only put it down when my bf made it clear to him that we wanted to order. His excuse was that since my bf was standing, he didn’t know if we were dining in or ordering to go. Either way, you are still supposed to greet customers warmly. We ordered wings as appetizer, two steaks with a salad and soup for sides, as well as loaded mash potatoes & Brussels sprouts. I ordered a sidecar. I will say that my drink was made well. I had to ask for water, which a customer should never have to ask for. My bf also asked for a water after me and wasn’t given his water until after we got our food. The bartender first gave us the soup and salad. I’m a bartender & server as well. Typically you bring out the appetizer first, THEN the soup and salad before the entree, but it’s not a big deal so I didn’t think anything of it. After about 15 minutes of having FINISHED the soup & salad, two other customers who ordered AFTER us received their steaks, still no wings. Eventually my bf asked about the wings. The bartender comes back with them, says he’s glad that we reminded him because he forgot them, then proceeds to blame the food runner for “not bringing them to him”. Again, as someone who also works in restaurants as a bartender & server, it’s ultimately YOUR job to ensure that you’re customers get everything they order whether you have a food runner or not. He didn’t even apologize. Then when the steaks come out, mine had loaded Mac & cheese (which I didn’t even know they had) when my bf clearly asked for loaded mashed potatoes(I get them everytime & I heard him order so I KNOW he said loaded mash). Instead of apologizing the bartender says “oh you definitely said loaded mac but it’s an easy fix” and then comes back with loaded mash. So again, no personal accountability taken & no apology. For the third time, as a server/bartender, if a mistake like that happens in service, you simply apologize & fix it. You don’t tell the customer that they definitely messed up and take zero accountability for the issue. We did come in at 10 and the store closes at 11. He also seemed a little spaced out. All I can assume is that he was tired, ready to go and didn’t care about doing his job to the best of his ability. As someone who also works in this industry I always tip 20-30% but unfortunately we only left $5 to cover the tipout. As much as I hated it, I couldn’t bring myself to reward such bad service. The food was good and my drink as well which is why I still gave 3 stars, but due to the service both me and my boyfriend were irritated and ready to leave before we even got our entrees. Next time I’ll only sit at the bar if the curly haired bartender is there otherwise I’ll...
Read moreAlicia, I’m not sure which one is which, but the two best friends who work the bar together ,one with short hair and the other who is short in height are consistently rude, especially toward women.
Every time I’ve visited, they’ve made it obvious they prefer to serve and engage with male customers. I sat at the bar, never got bread, and no one checked on me. I literally had to call them over just to get basic service. Their attitude is dismissive and unwelcoming. Honestly, I don’t understand why management keeps placing them at the bar together — their energy is negative, and their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced.
This is a bar. People come to drink, unwind, and have a good time. Yet these two always have something to say when women are enjoying themselves, while they bend over backwards for the men. It’s unprofessional and unfair. As bartenders, it shouldn’t matter if a customer is male or female , the service should be respectful and consistent across the board.
I’ve been here multiple times, and every time it’s the same issue.alwats complaing about a female !!! It’s uncomfortable, weird, and honestly disappointing. Women in Atlanta know how to have a good time, and we tip well .. often better than the men they’re trying so hard to impress. Stop basing your service and attitude around who you think will give you the biggest tip. It comes off as desperate and disrespectful.
Tonight was the last straw. I was with my husband, and I watched a female customer get mistreated by another male guest. Instead of stepping in or offering support, these bartenders sided with the man and encouraged his behavior, while tearing the woman down. It was disturbing to watch. This is not how professionals act.
They’ve clearly become too friendly with certain customers … going out with them, attending games, hanging out..thats natural I guess ??!! but it’s affecting how they treat others. Just because you became close with one customer doesn’t mean you get to be rude to another, especially if there’s drama between them. That’s not only unprofessional ..it’s petty.
These two women have no business working behind the bar if they can’t treat all customers with equal respect. At this point, they absolutely need to be let go.
Steak was good ..so I gave the food 5 stars !!!! But that’s it If you live in the neighborhood and value good customer service, I’d recommend heading to TGI Fridays for a quick bite. the service is consistently excellent and the atmosphere is enjoyable. My experience at longhorn camp creek was just too uncomfortable, so I’d much rather go to Fridays even if it gets a little crowded at times, the top-tier service makes...
Read moreI am beyond frustrated with my experience at Longhorn Steakhouse located at 3480 Camp Creek Parkway, Eastpointe, GA 30344. I placed an online order for pickup, expecting a smooth process, and what I got instead was a complete nightmare.
I was told my order would be ready at 10:05 PM. I arrived precisely on time, texted to let them know I was there, and everything seemed fine at first. A staff member brought out my food, but I made the mistake of not checking it right then and there. After a 20-minute drive home, where I was looking forward to enjoying my meal, I discovered that the steak I ordered medium well was cooked to a horrendous extra well. It was so overcooked that it was practically inedible!
I called the restaurant immediately, and after waiting on hold for a ridiculous 30 minutes, I finally got through to someone. I asked to speak with a manager and was told it would be a minute. I waited an additional 15 minutes on hold, only to decide that I had to drive back to the restaurant – another 20 minutes!
When I got there, I explained the situation to the staff. I was still on hold waiting to speak with the manager. I was asked to take a seat and wait. After another 15 minutes of sitting there, I asked for an update, only to be told the manager was busy on the grill. Seriously?!
Finally, the manager showed up, and I explained everything that happened. To my disbelief, there was no apology, no offer to remake the meal, nothing! I asked for a refund, and she casually told me that my order hadn’t been closed out and that it would “automatically reverse” on my card. She suggested I keep my receipt just in case, which felt like a blatant red flag. At no point did she express any empathy for the fact that I had just wasted over an hour of my time and drove 40 minutes round trip for a $35 steak that I couldn’t even eat!
This entire experience was unacceptable. A meal should not come with this level of hassle and frustration. Longhorn Steakhouse needs to seriously reevaluate their customer service and food preparation standards. I am incredibly disappointed and will think twice...
