I made reservations for my daughters and I but we had plans for a movie afterwards. I advised that I wanted my lamb chops cooked medium well, not burned. The food came out pretty fast and two of us had lamb chops. I chose to eat mine because I hadn’t eaten and did not have time to go anywhere else. However, I did not want my daughter to have to eat the burned chops. They were not cheap either. I advised the server and he stated that the grill may need to be cleaned. I was at a loss for words because why would you all cook on a grill that needs to be cleaned? Then he offered no rectification for the issue. After speaking on it a second time, he brought a saucer out to our table and asked my daughter to put the burnt chops on the saucer and he the offered to have those remade. I found that to be extremely distasteful as she was not eating them anyway. The manager then comes out, bends down and out table and basically says the food was eaten, but we are expressing our concern for it. Well my daughter’s food actually had been taken back to the back. I had eaten over my chops where I could. However, his response was completely unacceptable. I explained to him that the server clearly didn’t explain the issue as he was at our table with a sarcastic tone and yet I had a 134.00 ticket. I did not want to go back and forth with him and was not looking for anything free. I tried to explain that I ate some of my food because I was hungry and had a reservation shortly afterwards. He could not understand that. He then issued a refund for my daughter’s lamb chops when meant she didn’t entirely eat because they would not give her the ones they were remaking. She left there hungry. I do not appreciate how we were treated as patrons who clearly came for good service and good food, yet we got neither. Shame on this place for the lack of service and the way our food was prepared. We will...
Read moreWe went on a Sunday afternoon we were seated immediately. Our server came to the table a few times to get our order but we were chatting, each time she was a tad aggressive. Finally we were told if we didn't order we would be waiting for 2 hours or more because they had a 50 top. We placed our order 2 crawfish "stuffed" burgers, and the crawtator grouper with fried okra.
The fried okra was fried really well but no seasoning at all not even a little salt. The crawtator grouper was prepared well and seasoned well. The problems: the burgers were ordered medium well and they were supposed to be stuffed according to the menu. One came out well done with crawfish on top with melted cheese. The other came the same way except it was beyond burnt and crisp. I opted to send mine back I tried to speak with the waitress and before I was even done speaking she cut me off with I'll get the manager. The manager comes over and before I start speaking she looked at the burger and gasped and when asked if it was supposed to be stuffed as the menu indicated she said yes. I waited another 55 minutes for my burger. I asked for it to be packed up. She asked if there was anything else. I told her we were celebrating a birthday, the waitress abruptly says I got it when she was asked to make sure we got cake. The waitress returned with this huge piece of chocolate cake with an unlit candle flung a to-go container down and walked away. The person was not even given an option. A table across from us was seated after us I watched leave after only an appetizer because they said after 2 hours of being there no one had come back to take the actual order.
This is not my first time here but it will probably be my last. It was so much and all of it needs work. I would definitely start with the...
Read moreThe food here is so good, OMG! I brought my mom here for mother's day this year. We ordered alligator bites, bistreaux oysters, and one pound of spicy garlic crawfish to share for appetizers. All three were absolutely delicious. The alligator was really hot, fresh, and tender. The sauce that was served with it was incredible. The crawfish was extremely delicious as well. I am a seafood/crawfish connoisseur and this was some of the best crawfish I've ever had. The oysters were very tasty as well. They tasted like they were maybe grilled or smoked. They were very good. For our entrees my mom ordered the crawtator grouper and I had the Angus Ribeye Orleans. The Angus Ribeye Orleans was good, but not really memorable. It came with crawfish and potatoes. It was good and well seasoned, but I don't think I'd order for the again, especially when I consider the price. Definitely not a good day for your buck. The crawtator grouper, however, was absolutely amazing. Two months later, I still dream about it later at night, haha! It was really tasty. It tasted like there were crunchy potatoe chips or something under the fish and it was drenched in this amazing cream sauce. The grits underneath we're absolutely to die for. I highly recommend that you order this if you're a fan of grouper! It was SO good! To finish off the night we ordered cake. It was really pricey but I promise you, it was incredibly worth it. We ordered the carrot cake and prep cheesecake and both were incredible. The carrot cake was incredibly good and moist. The cheese cake tasted similar to a New York Style, but it had layers of Oreos and whipped cream. It was amazing. We ordered everything to share but I ended up eating the entire slice of cheesecake myself lol it was just that good. I highly recommend...
