IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. First I came through the drive through and was told that they were out of dark meat. After contemplating for a second I decided to pull off because I wanted dark meat. I turned back around and pulled up to the menu and asked how long would it be on dark meat. The employee got smart and basically tried to check me for pulling off and saying that she actually did have dark meat. I say ok and order and pull to the window. She never greeted me and still had a nasty attitude. I then check my food and try one of my potato wedges. They were very hard and tasted old. Also my chicken was very dark and looked old as well. I then go inside and got in line to get my food replaced. There were 3 people in line including me. We’re waiting 10 minutes before anyone came to the register and acknowledged us. The person I then encounter who I assumed to be the manager because she was we bossing everyone around was also being rude. I tell her that my chicken and wedges were old and I tried to show her the food but she instantly cut me off and told me she can’t take the food back and that there would be more chicken up in 17 minutes. I said ok and sat down. Once everything was ready she tries to get smart with me about the wedges and said she knows for a fake they were fresh. AND THEY WEREN’T AND WHEN I TRIED TO SHOW HER AGAIN SHE SAID LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING….HUH!?! I just got my food and walked out i spent a total of almost 45 mins inside waiting for my food. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, BAD ATTITUDES, BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD. The manager was an older woman light brown skinned with dreads and the employee at the window was a skinny lighter skinned girl with black hair. NEVER AGAIN YALL...
Read moreAmerica's first fast service chicken restaurant is always a welcomed option on the dining landscape. This location makes a good effort at serving a delicious alternative to the carnival of food offerings on Virginia Avenue. However, consistency is largely lacking here, one day you will walk into a clean store, with friendly, quick service, and properly prepared food. But far too often you will find a store in a semi state of disarray with no one visibly behind the counter, you are left standing there alone wanting to yell out "Hello...is anyone here?" At other times the line is backed up to the door and an employee is volleying back and forth from the service counter to the drive-thru as another furiously multi-tasks several cook and prep stations in the rear. This under representation of staff is the direct cause at times walking into a store less than tidy, and food hastily slammed together improperly prepared and presented without care or concern by a frustrated and disgruntled server who is unable to offer the best service and experience to the customer at that moment. The only other issue is the unreliable opening time, the website reads 10am the door post 10:30 am but on several occasions I have witnessed customers at 10:55 am walking around the perimeter of the store tugging on locked doors only to be waved away by employees inside and left to walk or drive away in bewilderment with empty hands and stomachs. Nevertheless, these incidents and occurrences are not so endemic as to stay away from a decent restaurant, serving good food despite challenging...
Read moreThis is my second visit to this location, and unfortunately, the experience was just as disappointing as the first. As someone with a background in the service industry, I understand the importance of customer service, professionalism, and upholding a brand's image — all of which were clearly lacking during my visit. The night shift in particular seems to be consistently underperforming. Upon entering, I was shocked to see a man in the lobby with his shirt off cleaning. This is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the KFC brand. Image is everything, especially in a food establishment, and this was far from a professional environment. Additionally, I encountered an issue while placing my food order. I was told only wings and breasts were available, which I understand can happen due to inventory. I requested two wings and a thigh, but since thighs were unavailable, I asked if I could just have three wings instead. The employee refused, saying I couldn’t have three wings — despite clearly having plenty of chicken in front of me. This made no sense and left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. This level of customer service is unacceptable and suggests a serious need for retraining or potentially new staff altogether. KFC is a well-established brand, and customers expect a level of consistency and professionalism when visiting. Right now, this location is failing to meet that standard. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. The problems here start at the top — leadership must step up to enforce standards and ensure a positive experience for...
