Ralph's Italian pizzeria and restaurant since 1975 — Restaurant in East Rutherford

Since new owners took over I have eaten here a couple of times and the soup pizza and chicken and broccoli is delicious and perfectly cooked I enjoy coming here they just need a new Waitress. I love the chicken soup but they have a big variety of homemade soups and I will try a different one eventually. The white pizza with spinach is amazing and has great flavor . I alsi had the chefs salad too . All greats and its fast you get your food . A++

They were filled with probably tons of bread . The sauce kind of covered up the meatballs but i would never eat them again. .They told me they were made there .As a person that cooks these meatballs had nothing in them no parmesan cheese no salt no parsley very little meat .The atmosphere was a guy sitting on the phone complaining. First time ordering from here. Please note this is “Ralph’s in East Rutherford” not to be mistaken for the one in Nutley, which the food there is outstanding. Ordered Chicken Savoy entree w a choice of a “side” …I chose the spaghetti. They sent me the chicken and spaghetti all in one container. It was disgusting. There was no distinction between the savoy sauce and the marinara. It was a mess. WE DiD SPECIFY when we ordered in the app. When we called to explain, the owner said we ordered it that way which was a lie. The owner was rude and kept talking over us when we explained. The owner can not just admit that they messed up. Clearly, the owner is still in denial and can’t admit he was wrong. We even sent him the screenshot of our order from DoorDash and he kept lieing and telling us we have to order it separately which we did. Apparently he doesn’t know the difference between an “entree” and a “side”. Food was disgusting and the owner was rude with horrible customer service skills. Next time I’ll stick to ordering the REAL chicken savoy from...

This place is truly a hidden gem!!!!

I've had a few dishes from Ralph's and decided to start posting how happy I am with the service AND food.

First, let me say the guys at the counter are wonderful!!!!

Today, I ordered the Chicken Piccata with the vegetables, specifically, the spinach and broccoli mixture.

The chicken is a generous portion. Everything is perfectly seasoned. The spinach and broccoli contain garlic cloves and are delicious!!!!

If you haven't tried the Tiramasu, YOU MUST!!! It is just the right amount and melts in your mouth. It's heaven!!!! They've also put out a new dessert with crunchy almonds on top. Very good!!!!!!

The chef gets five stars as EVERYTHING tastes very good!!! As a regular, I have to say Ralph's has THE BEST grilled chicken on Focaccia bread!!!! The chicken is grilled to perfection, and the mozzarella and tomatoes are the perfect combo !!!

Update: My mom and I craved a "real pizza." Just a classic, cheese pizza!!! As usual, Ralph's did not disappoint!! The pizza was chessy, and the taste...
