Red Kettle Coffee House — Restaurant in East Rutherford

My only complaint is the parking / entering this location is so strange. The general location of this coffee shop is completely out of place. I believe this was to be a hair salon before. It’s located in this in between street/ uturn weird island. However there is ample parking…. Once you find a way to get in there. That being said. Wow- this coffee is one of the best I have had. It is rich and enjoyable. It is not the type of coffee you want to rush. The vibe inside the coffee house is very 1990s library/book store. The post it’s everywhere is a cool touch. The server was welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating and so pleasant. The baked goods are balthazaars , so nothing special to this location. They can definitely do some upgrades to make them stand out even more, however, it was a great experience and I will return for sure when I am in the area… if I can get into their...

I used their toilet and the handle broke off when I tried to flush. A broken toilet handle is the perfect analogy to describe Red Kettle Coffee House. It looks like a coffee place. It smells like a coffee place. They even have piles of books around that no one reads, as coffee places often do. However, when you look through the facade, you will find coffee that tastes like lukewarm water. You will find green tea macho latte that tastes like seaweed. And cream. More cream than you really need. Enough cream to fill the lack of coffee.

In life, we all have broken toilet handles. We all have excess contaminates that need to be washed away. Sometimes however we lose the ability to cleanse. And the result of this is Red Kettle Coffee House.

All the drinks are awesome - great coffee and tea taste. But their online systems deserve negative stars. Ordered online 3 times at this place and the first 1 the barista didn't see the order, so ended up waiting in line and still waited for my drink like I didn't place the order 20 mins in advance. Other 2 times, they said the systems was down, the last one said our tablet is not working and mind you this was after i wait 20+ mins to pick up cuz i figure they would be busy. BUT anyway, maybe turn your online order off if you're not ready for it? People have their reasons when they order online . Maybe they are in a rush.
