Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in East Stroudsburg

There was an issue with their online service so I called in my order. The gentleman who took my order was very nice, but that was over an hour ago. I just called to figure out what the ETA was, I was told, "It will be there soon, I'm making it right now" when I asked why it took so long to even get the order started I was then told, "well I'm making it now but I cant work on it since I am on the phone with you." This statement alone shocked me, okay i get it but my answer was still not answered so I asked again, " we have been having issues with our computers going off and on with the weather" I also understand weather could be an issue. But I am trying to understand what that has to do with making the order, "they are working on the wires, as soon as things get poppin again and I'm off the phone with you I can get your order out." When k asked if there was someone else I could speak with I was informed that Clarke, the man I was speaking with, was the manager. So that's when I asked why i wasnt told when I ordered my food over an hour ago that there was an issue, "online ordering is having an issue" so I informed him I called in the order and said in the future it would just be a nice courtesy to be informed there are technical issues. "I dont have any control over this I'm just the guy who makes the pizza and I cant while I'm on the phone" I told him I also worked customer service and that i understand things come up and things come up and make it difficult to give 100%, but again, in the future it would be nice to be informed there are issues going on. I understand they are busy, the phones were ringing off the hook when I initially called. I did not know it would take this long or that a manager...

They’re literal children with 0 managers around and they tried stealing my food and money lol. My food was taking a bit long and I decided to call the store and the young girl told me that the tracker gets stuck sometimes, which I understood. I waited until the driver left the store. When the driver left the store I watched carefully where he/she was driving, when they were a minute away, I stepped foot outside into my alleyway just in time to see a couple cars pass by and it said “order compote” with no driver or pizza around. I called again and it was the young girl (sounds about 12 but I’m guessing 16) and informed her that I was waiting outside and she said the tracker gets stuck. Girl, now how does the tracker get stuck when I’m watching it come to my house and watched it say order complete. She said to wait 5-10 and it’ll be there. I did just that, and I STOOD outside. (Nice night out, I didn’t mind) No one came. I called again, it was the young girl and this time I asked to speak with a manager and she said they left about an hour ago with a snarky voice. I asked her to put someone who’s older and can answer my questions, she hung up on me lol. I called again, because it’s my money and food. Someone older answers the phone and proceeds to tell me they were at my house, and they called me a bunch of time and they even waited. I knew where this was going because I was young and dumb once, I asked for a refund and she seemed to not have liked that said “sure” and hung up on me. She still gave me my refund, because she knew better on that part 🙂‍↕️ but go through the reviews, it’s not the first time this has happened lol. Just wow! I've had dominos over the years but decided to call the store to get an employees recommendation. NIKOLAS went above and beyond. He recommended the parm bites and the pizzas with the brownies. It was immaculate! His professionalism and kindness is something to behold and should be a standard for all dominos employees. He honestly should be a manager at this store given how amazing the service he provided and continues to provide is. If I could give him 10 stars out of 5 I would. I will continue to be a customer at this store thanks to Nikolas. He is the standard all dominos and honestly all food service employees should follow and I'm sure he is a role model at his store. I'd work under him with the leadership he shows daily. He's the best employee I've ever met at any dominos stores and I've been to many globally. He'll make it far and I hope he gets paid what he is worth cause employees like him come once in a thousand years. Thank you fir everything you do for your store Nikolas.
