I visit this Dunkin before work every morning and often in the afternoons. Sadly I have became accustomed to fact that the morning customer service here is terrible at best. I find myself warming my sandwich in the microwave or picking off the burnt parts of my sandwich every morning. Every morning finding myself with a bunch of other disappointed and aggravated customers around me trying to simply get what they ordered. Oddly enough in the afternoons when the morning staff and management are gone the service is very good. This morning they managed to even top their horrible MORNING customer service with incorrectly made orders and either still frozen cold or burnt to a crisp food. This only seems to be an issue with the morning crew. As I stand there waiting 2 to 3x longer this morning than even the normal extended wait time at this store. Also after waiting and seeing other customers behind me come in order and pick up their food as the orders came random and mixed up and wrong. I asked about my order and being able to visually see it had not been started. I asked for a refund because of the even longer than average wait time at this store I was told it was on its way out. I thought to myself why would you lie to a customer who can plainly see you have not even started it. Then I watched them start to make my order after they said it was coming out. When my order came out the employee was rude and threw my sandwich to the pick up area and the cover popped open. My order was not even placed in a bag as it should be or would be at any other Dunkin. The eggs and cheese was still cold and the sourdough cold and not toasted which is normal for this store but at least I didn't have to pick off the burnt pieces this time. The manager was there during all of this and said nothing regarding the service or the employee throwing my sandwich. If you enjoy Dunkin and expect your order made correct the first time and do not want to have to warm it up or scrape the burnt parts off avoid this store in...
Read moreHorrible. We got scammed by this place. My wife got a $6 order when an employee mistakenly charged us$50 gift card, we told them we were from NY visiting and they said their manager would be by in a few hours and to come back for a refund. We came back for our refund the manager refused and accused my wife of stealing it from another store. We called the police and they accused my wife of stealing it, and yelled at her saying the district manager said no, we have video of this whom incident. The employee who did it also kept pulling us aside offering us to go to the bank with him to get our 50 bucks but we just wanted the refund on my wife card which we used to purchase. The police told us the manager said we are not welcome on premises. The manager Denise. Seems to me like Denise is in on a scimming operation or some kind of scam against customers and Dunkin donuts. Police told us it's civil matter and to contact Dunkin donuts which we will definitely pursue. Was considering buying Dunkin donut stock but definitely not after they have franchises operating as such. Not only is it the worst sales and customer experience I have ever experienced but not only that there was fraud and theft. Dunkin never gave us our refund and said we weren't allowed in premises. So I have been prompted to post this to protect others. Also the employee asked for my wife's license and took here license in back of the Dunkin restaurant for some strange reason that really worries about identity theft as well. I hope Dunkin Donuts reviews...
Read moreSo, I really like their donuts and some of their drinks. It can actually be affordable in this current economy compared to places like Starbucks, but when I tell you the customer service is terrible- it is. Sometimes, during daytime hours, the lobby should be open, but doors will be locked, and there'll be a "drive though only" sign on the door. This has happened in the morning at peak coffee time. When their lobby iss open, the worker's priority is the drive thru. Not everyone in Stroudsburg can afford a car or even have access to one! If you've even been here, you'll probably be waiting for at least ten minutes for a donut and some coffee. When I spoke on one behalf of the 8 other customers waiting in the lobby, I was told, "There should have been someone to help you at that station. Drive through is priority." I actually witnessed the girl working as cashier on shift previously run out through the side exit. She didn't come back at all for at least the next 20 min... that is a very unprofessional way to conduct business. On top of that, they're rude about it. The atmosphere really isn't that bad, and don't forget to add the cream and sugar to your regular coffee yourself if you've ordered one. It's really just the customer service that kills the vibe of this Dunkin. They'll be opening another one down the street soon and closing...
