I just want to throw this out there. I have a sneaking suspicion that drivers may misquote the amount you owe to get a better tip. I've ordered from here many times and when the driver comes to the door it is always more. I just figured it was something to do with the system not having the correct amount. I never check the receipt, I trust people. So as usual when I ordered today I got the normal amount out added like 2$ to the price plus added a 20% tip. When my pizza got here I noticed it was a driver that I've never seen before, when he told me the price it was exactly what my receipt said online. The first time, like ever..... Ok..... Here is the thing, at the end of the day I could of called them out (but I never have said anything because I trust them), but now I realize it is way to easy to quote a higher price in hopes of getting a better tip and if someone says anything you can just say "whoops, I meant blah blah blah blah blah (the correct price) I must of mixed it up". No harm no fowl. But if you never question them, then you will never know. Its a simple case of plausible deniability, it's like the perfect crime. I guess its "touchè to you good sir" bescause i never questioned why my pizza was always over priced. At the end of the day, I could be wrong, but I know for a fact that I would never assume the price is going to be more than it usually is, unless it usually is. So watch out! As a server I always give a good tip, even if the service sucks. Just for good tip karma. At the end of the day if the price seems wrong, say something. Because I feel 100% like my kindness was taken advantage of.... Much love all!
PS: I don't want any money back, I feel like if I took any it would ruin the point of this post. Making it a witch hunt for free pizza. I just know I'll be triple checking my price from...
Read moreI took my family to dine in and was so disappointed. We stood at the door, waiting to be seated, for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Then we were told that we needed to order at the counter and there was another wait. I ordered beer and the staff completely forgot to bring it to us. Our breadsticks were very well done, the pizza was messed up and when we asked for a box, they gave us a used one. The staff did give us a pizza to go to make up for the mishap with the original pizza but it doesn't make up for the lack of service we received. Though the staff was friendly and tried to make things right, it was easy to see that they were either not trained properly or they just didn't seem to care. We went out so that we didn't have to wait on ourselves and had to anyway. Papa Murphy's would have given us the same pizza and we would have known that we were going to have to take care...
Read moreOrdinarily a visit to Pizza Hut means an overpriced pizza served in a cast iron pan coated and swimming in grease with an off-taste to the crust. But not lately!
Something great has happened, if not with the whole chain then at least to our location. No longer is it dingy and underlit. It's quite nice inside. Gone are the soggy oil drenched pizzas, now the crusts are crisp outside and fresh tasting. You can taste the ingredients now.
They even have a deal now where you get a free medium pizza with any toppings for free when you get a second one--so the price has gone from frustratingly overpriced to encouraging.
These guys have really turned it around. I came away...
