East Star Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in East Whiteland Township

So disappointed in my last experience with this place typically we order from them 3 to 4 times a year and it’s been just fine and Friday night we ordered and the chicken fried rice was just terrible there was zero flavor the chicken literally tasted like rubber and my wife is not picky at all so I knew something was wrong with it. My shrimp and black bean was just fine as was the crab Rangoon so I called the restaurant and asked for my money back just for the fried rice they said I will just give you free food next time I said fine. I called today they totally gave me the runaround they wouldn’t give me something to replace it they kept trying to up charge me adding more products which I did not want. You have to wonder how desperate a restaurant is to reimburse $12 and while $12 won’t make or break me I think in this day and age the cost of delivery and food $12 means something so this is why I was trying to get something else to replace. The classy thing would have been actually to simply deliver free food the same day of a different choice or delivering what I asked for today free of charge. This is how you run a business. Absolutely awful!! and horrible customer service. I've ordered from here a few times but my last time was the worst. 1st off, I went to pay in cash and they had changed my total because they claim Grub Hub didn't have the correct prices. I refused to pay the new total because if I had paid online with a credit card they can't modify it. I kept insisting that wasn't my problem until they finally accepted my original payment. I ordered a few things (because I ate 1 for lunch, 1 for dinner, next day, etc). I ate the Shrimp Fried Rice for lunch which it wasn't great but whatever. I work in Malvern but live in Norristown. When I got home that night, I saw my Beef with Brocolli was actually Beef with HUGE chunks of green peppers and onion. I tried to eat it but the rice seemed a few days old and it was absolutely disgusting. I took a picture and called the next day. They wouldn't do anything for me and asked why I didn't call that day. I explained I don't live near there and I didn't know until that night when I got home. They had no remorse and couldn't care less. Why would I lie about 1 part of my order being wrong? I even had a picture to prove it. I will never order...
