5 Stars all the way around as they made a huge moment for me so easy! I called on Friday morning prior to my dinner and Marina, who I found out to be the General Manager, answered the phone. I told Marina that I planned on getting engaged that night and asked if there was any way the restaurant could accommodate this very special request. Marina, who mightâve even been more excited than me, said they would love to make this happen and literally said leave the rest to her. She was an absolute ROCKSTAR couldnât be more thankful for her efforts. She said she had a private wine cellar downstairs that they typically use for private events that was absolutely perfect for this special moment as I was not so keen on doing it inside the restaurant with everyone else around. Again, it was the perfect setting.
After dinner was over, and after going into the bathroom to practice a couple of times đ , Marina came and got us and asked if weâd like to see the wine cellar since it was our first time there, very clever move on her part. We went downstairs and everything was set up beautifully, champagne, a âWill you Marry meâ Dessert, flowers and all beautifully candlelit, it was gorgeous and couldnât have asked for more. Marina had also called me after our initial call to ask what my fiancĂ©âs favorite song to be played during the moment which was an additional added touch that made her ball like a baby, so thanks for that extra effort! Needless to say but Iâm happy she said yes and we had the most incredible moment and it was all thanks to Marina and the wonderful staff!
O yes, they also serve food too, amazing food I might add. Our dinner was absolutely incredible and besides the moment was the costar of the evening, we really enjoyed every bite. The wine tap system is so cool and we loved trying the different varieties. The chef gave us a special ravioli of butternut squash topped with black truffle which was easily the best thing we had all night and thatâs saying a lot. The inside is not stuffy at all and is so cool with the wine market and counter with cured meats, itâs like an old world Italian shop and restaurant which is a wonderful setting in downtown Easton.
Overall, we couldnât have asked for more, it was an incredible experience and one weâll never forget. Cheers to The Wardroom for making our special night that much greater. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

We walked up Eastonâs beautiful streets all lit up with Talbot goes purple lights, we come into what is the market side and was directed over to the counter. You order your food first and get your âWard Cardâ for your wine. The tap system is awesome and out of this world..Overall pricing was good for the quality. Service from a very familiar face -Rita was impeccable and commendable for her knowledge, punctuation and enthusiasm during our date night.
We got the charcuterie and cheese for 4, Rita came out and got our suggestions for what kind of cheeses we liked; creamy , mild , Smokey. They brought everything out and explained where everything came from and what to expect and what to pair it with. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS and we paired it with some Chardonnay. We were never rushed we took about 30 mins on the cheeses and charcuterie alone.
The Gnocchi was very tender and flavorful, overall I rate it a 10/10. I had the caprese and my wife had the Maryland crab we basically shared because they were both so good.
We checked out with our wine card and closed the Tab. And low and behold ANOTHER familiar face Sam! She showed us the market , hand made pasta from the master chef and all the different wine they had to offer and chocolates and macaroons, we werenât leaving without the macaroons. She was very informative and upbeat! What sells this place to me is the ambiance and level of service provided and the simplicity. Bravo đ to the staff and Salute to the chef. We will be back next week -Taylor L. Honaker & Marley...
