Please note: There are no cashiers or someone up in the front to take your order and they do not take cash. Why the 3 stars? They're located next to Mai Pho, or where you enter the mall on left side when you first enter. Unsure, if Mai Pho and Bober Tea share the same owner but they are right next to each other. Everything is ordered through the two kiosk machines (pictured) on the wall. But why still the long line, I kid you not, the line was long. Well, because of the customer themselves are left figuring out how to use their kiosk machine. There are poster menu upfront, but coming to the kiosk machine, it is a whole new menu layout. So, it may take you some time trying to read the kiosk menu and figuring things out. I love that their mochi dough are soft, chewy, and still good after a day. Designed with some cute garnish too. I had ordered all their flavors to try out. A little disappointed, most of their flavors are not as noticeable other than the sesame seed and strawberry by a hint. The other flavors they offer are matcha, churros, captain crunch, cookies n cream, taro and plain. Bober (boba) tea comes with a cute lids depending on which drink you order. My daughter got the ice coffee so, it came with an expresso bean on top. Sadly, they were out of the famous mango drink. Going to have to come back and try it another time but maybe at a different location. Didn't know they offer advance order and pick up (except this location). Hopefully soon! You may want to check it out. I wish they had more kiosk machines, as the pick up line was fast. And, someone up in the front to answer any questions. Having two isn't enough, as I notice the occupant took a longer on the first kiosk machine while the other one had 3 customers ordered already. So, maybe having a third one isn't as bad either. Something maybe Bober Tea and Mochi dough should...
Read moreIf you’re on the hunt for a delightful beverage that’s as fun to drink as it is delicious, look no further than boba tea! I recently embarked on a boba adventure and was met with an explosion of flavors and textures that left my taste buds dancing with joy.
The moment I took my first sip, I was greeted by the velvety smoothness of the milk tea, which was a perfect balance of rich and refreshing. The real magic, however, lay in the chewy boba pearls that nestled at the bottom of the cup. Each pearl was a burst of sweetness, providing an addictive contrast to the creamy base. The sensation of slurping them up through the oversized straw was oddly satisfying, creating a delightful rhythm that added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
What truly sets boba apart is the range of flavors and customizable options available. From classic favorites like traditional black milk tea to exotic fruity concoctions and even creamy matcha blends, there’s a boba flavor for every palate. The ability to adjust sweetness levels and choose between different types of milk or non-dairy alternatives further enhances the personalization process, ensuring that every boba drink is tailor-made to suit your preferences.
And let’s not forget the aesthetics! The vibrant colors, layered textures, and the visual appeal of those tapioca pearls resting at the bottom of the cup make boba an Instagram-worthy beverage that’s just as photogenic as it is delicious.
Whether you’re a long-time boba enthusiast or a newcomer eager to dive into this delightful trend, boba tea promises a sip-worthy adventure that will tantalize your taste buds and keep you coming back for more. It’s a beverage that brings joy to your senses and a smile to your face, making it a must-try treat that’s perfect for...
Read moreI've always ordered Boba teas here but never have ordered it without ice. Well, I finally did, and it turns out that they give you less content when you don't add ice. Now, if you think about it, they make more profit for not adding ice, and when you take about an inch of the liquid off from the top, they make even more profit (saving ice and liquid)! In other words, they make more money when you don't add ice! What they really should do is fill it to the top, and then their pricey Boba tea would be justified, with or without ice. It's already calculated in the price. I'm a Boba tea critic and do try many places, so I will recommend a place that is good, not too pricey, and also will fill it to the rim without ice.
9/7/2025 update:
Today I went back here to order milk teas. The worker made a mistake putting both orders with no ice but the notes specifically said one with no ice and one with ice. Anyway, the bigger mistake was the second worker took over and when she added ice, she took a new cup and scoop a bunch of ice and filled it to half the cup, then poured in the milk tea from the original cup to the new cup. Unfortunately, the ice was too much so she had to dump out the extra teas and throw it away instead of scooping out the excessive ice! That's a waste and not the right way. The right thing to do was to pour the tea to the new cup then add ice enough to reach the top of the cup. Regrettably, I asked to add ice but what I got in the end was less tea than I originally got when no ice was added. I recommend anybody reading this review to reconsider finding a different Boba tea, for this particular tea shop, though the only choice in the Asian Mall in Eden Prairie, you really got no choice but to tolerate their bad service. Not...
