Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Eden Prairie

I’ve been a regular customer throughout the pandemic and I always thought this vendor had my safety as a customer in mind when I entered this store. But I was shocked yesterday when I entered the store prepared to place a large combined order for myself and some neighbors and I found 4 customers and ALL 3 employees maskless. Whatever virus particles any of these people had would surely be left hanging in the air or deposited on the bagels. And I imagine that behavior to include customers who had been there prior to my arrival. The sad thing is that I had just come from the Costco and Byerly’s locations in Eden Prairie and all of the employees at those stores showed their concern for their customers health by wearing masks.

Needless to say, after an uncomfortable few moments sizing up the situation (I really wanted those bagels and sandwiches) I turned around and left. I guess I need to find another supplier for my bagels. You should do the same if you value your health and want to stop the pandemic that has ravaged our community...

I gave the atmosphere 1 star because while in the store today, I was asked by a woman if I would like to fill out a survey given by a local church, to which I answered no. I disliked this encounter because I thought management should not be supporting this kind of "enterprise" (yes, I chose that word deliberately). That church has nothing to do with a bagel shop's business. Had the shop allowed the Girl Scouts to sell cookies, that would have been fine since they also deal with edible products....

I am very pleased with how this place runs itself. I often times go in multiple times a week and get the same 2 bagels, and it is always made up to standards. I never usually have to wait long and if there is a long line, that's beyond their control anyways. Obviously the food is awesome. Service is great, the guys working there are always the best.
