The food here is amazing!! I've been eating at The Pizzeria since the one in Harlingen opened. I've even raved about this place with people who have had their doubts. However, recently I had a pretty awful experience with delivery. I placed the order at 3:32 p.m. and didn't receive the pizza until 4:44 p.m. mind you I live 5 minutes from there.(I know I should have picked it up myself) but I never had issues with delivery and was baffled by the wait. By the time it got to me, it was cold. I called, the manager and she offered to give credit, I decided on the knotts and wings. It takes a fraction of the time since the manager expedited it which was well appreciated. I open up the bag and the knotts are burnt and the garlic oil is all over the box of wings and bag because the foil holding the knotts was not completely closed. I've had the knotts and delivery before, I never had issues until today. I was really disappointed especially since it felt like the manager was frustrated with me over something that could have been avoided from better attention to detail on their part. Other than that, the food is worth 5 stars and definitely recommend when not burnt or delivered cold.
