Frank's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Edison

**Update: They processed my order today and overcharged me $5 for my review and complaint, make sure you are double checking your accounts, they cannot be trusted!!!!!!!!

I normally would have given this pizzeria a 5 because their pizza tastes great but it is unfortunate the last time I order pizza came home opened the pie and there was a piece of facial hair in the middle of the pie. When I called the place the man who picked up the phone apologized and questioned if I wanted to Bring the pie back? And have a fresh one made? I agreed. I arrived at the place and the man behind the counter wearing his mask halfway( had lots of facial hair ) said if he could check the pie, I handed it to him and he sarcastically said he didn’t see it. Stared at it for a few minutes, smirking, he said to me, can you show me. I immediately took the pie and picked up the piece of facial hair out of the pie. He looked at me and said “jokingly”, I must need glasses, I was wearing my glasses. I may have found it amusing if my pizza didn’t have a piece of hair in it. Needless to say he made another pie but handled the situation very wrong. Very dissatisfied about him not taking fault for hair...

Frank's Mexican Trattoria - What more is there to say? If you're in a pinch, this might be a good place to stop by, but usually regret it later. Most slices have sat out all day, left over from preparation for lunch. I find them to be inedible, or often leaving you feeling sick to your stomach after eating. Make sure there is a bathroom nearby. The value for the money just isn't there. I don't see how two slices and a small soda can run you around $7 for lunch. The staff preparing the pizza is always friendly, but the wait-staff is always miserable and I've recently overheard a conversation where they were explaining mistreatment. The building's decor is outdated, and needs to be remodeled. The bathroom has a distinct "Frank's" odor that cannot be put into words. There are other Pizza places nearby in Edison that will provide a better atmosphere, product, and value.

Oh, and "Frank" - a tip - Buffalo Chicken pizza isn't lathered in Buffalo sauce, it's put on sparingly...

I've been ordering from here for about 3 years since I work directly across the street ... their food is good but their service has become horrendous.. I call sometimes and they tell me they can't deliver...ill call again then they say "after 8 we don't deliver anymore " ...ok fine....I call again and they say "no worries any time you want a delivery we will come " ....i call today at 7ish and now they can't deliver AGAIN.... LIKE PICK ONE. I responded with an "oookkay" and the woman on the phone said "MHMM"...Sooo DONE with this place. No consistency what so ever. ALSO, I would like to add that once I ordered a pizza here with my co worker and instead of regular pizza cheese there was sliced American cheese on my pizza. GET IT TOGETHER. You would think a place you have been ordering from as well as your co workers have for this long you would be treated with the same acceptable customer...
