What's a girl to do when she's craving something warm, savory and golden..find the closest Indian bakery! The bakery is split into two sections when you walk in. There's the to-go section where you can either pick-up or order what you like. Then there's the step down area where there are tables where you can eat and a "Yogurt Station" however it's not always open (just ask the front desk for assistance). There is ample parking since the store is located in a plaza. They even have outdoor seating available on those warmer days. They have a variety of options from American fast food (mozzarella sticks, French fries, etc), Indian sweet cakes to savory Indian munchies. I had asked for their Madras coffee or tea, however they ran out! Chicken Tikka Puff | This was so much better than the puffs I've gotten in the past. They have both non/veg options for your puff filings. Typically the outside is made with your traditional Pillsburry Puff Sheets one can find at ShopRite however they had a special dough that gave you a great crunch with every bite and was perfectly golden on the outside. On the inside, the chicken tikka pieces were bite size and was not too drying. Only down side was that there was a weird after-taste with the puffs however it tasted amazing so I'd go for another piece! Samosa | Standard samosa however there was a lot of the spicy potato filling! The dough on the outside wasn't as crispy how I normally like it but it was chewy and doughy. I just wish they had a dipping sauce with it like I've normally gotten at other places like some sort of mint chutney or something. In the seating area downstairs, they had Ketchup on the tables. It should be illegal to have the ketchup with the samosa! But I may have tried a bit with the ketchup just because it was a bit dry to eat. Can't wait to come back to try some of their...

We got the Manchurian gobi and an onion rava masala dosa to eat there plus an uttapam to go. There were only three other people in the place yet it took them 20 minutes to put out only 1 of the dishes; another 15 to get the next!
The onions in the dosa were burnt, the sambhar tasted like it was made from a powder mix, the chutney were watery and tasteless. The Manchurian gobi was barely tolerable with a thick, gummy batter coating and the cauliflower (gobi) was hard, not cooked through.
The onion and tomato uttapam looked like it had a layer of charcoal on it- it was burned that badly. When I got home and saw it, I called them about it and was told the uttapam has to be cooked properly and that's essentially how it should be!
The pastries there used to be good but have gone down in flavor - skimping on the ingredients perhaps

Read moreI and my wife visiting our family in Edison from Atlanta and went to buy cake. Tried to pay by credit card but they do not accept CC. Paid cash but they did not give me receipt. Very bad part is this. There are two steps to go out next to cash register which is not as per code and dangerous for the people who do not look at down. I felt down and damaged my ankle, knee and back with hip. I asked owner to write incident report but he refused. As per work comp rule they have to create incident report. Also asked business license then he refused to provide that. When I fall down no one from his staff came to me to help and even did not care about it. No formality even and no sorry. They did not care about this incessant. Owner was very rude while I was talking. I have his recording while I was taking to him. I will not visit this store any time even in Atlanta area. It is very shameful that they do not care of their...
