We had an incredible experience with Pure Event Group at our son’s Bar Mitzvah in September 2024. From start to finish, everything was seamless and stress-free. Greg was fantastic during the onsite visit, offering great recommendations that truly helped shape the event. Caitlyn was a great communicator throughout the planning process—we had prep calls, and she provided excellent guidance on how to build and prepare for the event, making everything feel smooth and easy. The event portal for organizing the timeline, playlist, and trivia was easy and fun to work with for all of us.
On the day of the event, DJ David, Dancer Patrick, and MC Alex were all amazing. Alex struck the perfect balance—he wasn’t pushy but made sure both kids and adults were up and dancing, and the music was never too loud. DJ David took our song choices and turned them into something truly special. He didn’t just play songs—he had great mixes, read the crowd perfectly, and his unique music signature was apparent, which made the event feel distinctive and memorable. Patrick was sweet, pure joy to have around, and brought so much energy to the dance floor!
The whole team went above and beyond, even staying a bit longer than expected to ensure everything was perfect, despite heading to other events afterward. If we could give them 6 stars, we absolutely would. We highly recommend Pure...
Read moreThere were quite a few issues. The place is old and the dance floor is very substandard.
We bought two tickets on line at $25 each plus a surcharge so let's round it up to $60 for tickets to a defunct catering place.
When we arrived the parking lot was coned off. They shook us down for $5 valet parking.
Inside we were chased out of empty booths marked reserved which went unused all night. If you didn't have VIP tickets you were treated like second class citizens. They even segregated that small horrible dance floor with velvet ropes. VIPs were only allowed near the empty stage all night.
Drinks were over priced.
The acts didn't start until around 11:40. The opening act was horrible because the music was so loud she couldn't get in tune. I'm sure she is talented, music was too loud for her. By 12:30 our group of 16 got tired of waiting for George Lamond and left.
We will never go back to Pure. All guests should be treated like VIPs. I've been to the best clubs in NYC and patrons were never treated badly. We were at the Palms Disco night the week before. For a $20 cover we were treated like royalty. Small burgers, egg rolls and fruit skewers were offered FREE. Drinks were reasonably priced, $4 a beer. Seating for everyone. Nice dance floor that was not segregated.
So I wish the Palms had continuous Disco Nights
Pure was a pure...
Read moreJesse and Danny from Pure Event Group MC'd and DJ'd our wedding at the Hamilton Manor and we couldn't have asked for a better duo. Jesse was the perfect amount of engaged with our guests and Danny's mix of the music we selected was amazing. They kept everyone dancing all night long! We've had multiple people ask who was our DJ was because they're interested in booking them for their own weddings. We highly recommend them! Not only are they good at what they do but they were professional, personable and just made our day easier and more enjoyable. So many of our guests shared that it was an amazing wedding overall, but our entertainment was top notch. We also booked our photo booth through them, as well as, cold sparklers as our enhancement. The sparklers made for some amazing photos that we can't wait to see, and our guests were using the photo booth all night long! Overall we are so happy that we booked with Jesse because we couldn't see ourselves with anyone else. He was great from our first meeting all the way through to our special day. Seriously a great team and we can't thank...
