turn your car around & go to route 1 in edison. Prob 5 mins away & its a drive thru they are quicker, SUPER friendly & attentive. They make great coffee & seem like they WANT to work. Dont even think about this location the staff is the problem here. There were 2 good workers here but youll see they probably leave because the environment is horrible ! The only reason I ever kept coming here was for Allison who had great customer service skills & the young man with the earings/gauges. Everyone else had an attitude.
Welp. Had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 stars. Primarily because The person over the phone was not helpful. I get things happen but your customer service is BEYOND POOR. Im the type of person that will come in the drive thru and leave you a 5-20$ tip. Ask your coworkers. Im sure they know who I am.
This type of thing has happened in the past where i do a mobile order & get something completely different. Today was a big deal because it wasnt for me.
Today i ordered : a bacon gouda sandwich (usually take the bacon off bc my family member cant eat bacon)
Egg white bites for my 15 month old daughter who cant eat bacon.
And then bacon egg bites
They gave me 3 bacon egg bites despite the stickers showing what i ordered. Thats pure laziness.
I called & the woman says I can just get a new one next time or come in & theyll make it right. No apology nothing.
I called again and asked to just have my order refunded because this is ridiculous. Well she said i have to come in. Thanks for the start to my morning ! I will start going to a different location this one is run by lazy kids & they shut their location down every other week.
Edit : I went into the store for my refund. No apology, nasty attitude of the girl in front. Didnt even offer to refund my 7$ coffee that taste like garbage. But thats fine. You wont see...
Read moreA drive-through Starbucks! First ever! Yeah! And yet they managed to screw it up. Dear Starbucks, drive-through is all about convenience. It’s not convenient when you don’t have decaf coffee. You know who has decaf coffee? Dunkin Donuts, 5 minutes down the road on Green St. They have a drive-through too. And regular coffee. All at the same place. One trip, not two.
Another thing, you need to have a talk with the people who built your shop. The drive-through lane? It’s tight even for a shopping cart, never mind a motor vehicle. The guard rail is already scuffed up. That’s not because of bad drivers, it’s bad design. Look at all the rubber on your curbs. Y’know, they have people who design stores and parking lots who have done drive-throughs. It’s too late for this store, but next time you spend a million bucks building one, you might give your driveway a thought.
But I digress. Twice now I’ve gone there and no decaf for my companion. There’s not going to be a third trip. I can only imagine what would happen if I ordered something complicated, like, I don’t know, a large with 2 sugars. But a black decaf? It doesn’t really call for a highly trained barista, now does it.
The staff were nice. The wait was too long though.
Oh yeah, how about a sign that says “Order Here”. I didn’t know which advertisement box to talk to.
Come on man! You were So on the right track with this idea! It could have been a home run! It’s New Jersey, everybody has a car and nobody wants to get out of it for a coffee! I’m only upset because you have set the bar so high...
Read moreI’m going to try being as concise as possible: The hours of operation are completely random. There’s been so many times where we’ve driven to this location, seeing as it’s the closest one to us, and it’s been closed even when Google indicates it’s open. Recently, they’ve been posting temporary hours of operation at their drive through and, even then, they fail to follow through. Long story short, you never know if and when this location is open. I can’t speak to the service when you walk through, but the drive through is extremely inefficient. It almost always wraps around the entire location, making the parking lot a complete mess. Most people tend to only order one or two drinks, and despite that, the baristas take so long people put their cars into park. It doesn’t make sense to blame the baristas though because there’s usually only one on shift during peak evening hours. Again, long story short, this place is very understaffed, and because of this, the time spent waiting on drinks is just not worth it. Lastly, the drink quality is also unpredictable. On more occasions than one, I have spent a minimum of fifteen minutes in the drive through waiting on one drink and when it comes back, my tall drink barely fills two-thirds of the cup. I never ask them to remake it because they obviously have their hands full, but it is seriously irritating having to pay Starbucks prices, wait a long time, and then get a lacking drink.
I would only stop by if lines are short. Otherwise I would say go to a different location or a Starbucks in a...
