Went to eat lunch here ordered general chicken seam rice fried rice 2 spring rolls. Jameson brought food out there was some type of chunky grayish stuff on top of my rice. I asked what is this rat poison, I told him I'm not going to eat this that I need new food. He takes plate of food brings it back fairly quick. The rice has scrap marks through it now the grayish substance is on the side of the rice. I asked if this was new rice he said yes, I pointed out that it wasn't because there is still that grayish stuff on the side of rice. He looked at me and said it won't hurt you in a rude tone. I then poured the sircha over it so they had to give me fresh. At this point I should have walked out but I went to front counter told wenny and other girl the issue and that I don't want him touching my food because I don't trust him near it. By the time I got my food back spring rolls and general chicken was cold. I go to pay for the food they charged me for the sircha said manager James put it on my bill. I said I've never been charged for the sircha ever and I dine here often. I asked to speak to the manager but when she went back there he was conveniently in the bathroom. A place I used to eat at often I will never eat at again worst experience I've had there. Sad when you can't even trust them to give you fresh food when there was a problem with the old. I would hate to have had a bug in my food they would have probably just scraped that off too and tried to serve it back to me 🤢🤮
**Been cooking for years rice starch is white not grayish ashy chunks. Feel like manager charged me for the sircha because I dumped it on the rice that they lied about changing forcing them to give me fresh rice. Must've changed pricing that day because i eat there often. Jameson definitely needs more customer service training he flat out lied to me about getting me fresh rice and then got an attitude with me when I called him out...
Read moreMy coworkers and I love this place, we usually go here for their bubble tea which is always amazing. But we went twice this week and both times were poor experiences.
The first, we stopped in for a quick order of tea. They weren't busy as it was around 3 p.m. on a Thursday. Our quick order of tea took 20 minutes, with no explanation for why it took so long when there were hardly any customers, and there were staff wandering around looking bored.
The second visit was a Friday during our lunch hour. We loved their tea and heard the food was very affordable, so we decided to try it. The one waiter looked busy, so we decided on our orders within 10 minutes of sitting down. Our waiter had been to our table twice previously and only informed us they were completely out of beef after we put in our orders. OK, no problem we can order something else. Our appetizer order arrived after 40 minutes and a reminder to the passing cook that we hadn't received it. One coworker received her food after 30 minutes. I didn't receive my order until 45 minutes of waiting, and our 3rd coworker NEVER got her food, even after mentioning it 3 times. We had to get back to work so we went up to the front counter and paid, since we asked for our checks and didn't hear from our waiter for 10 minutes. Our 3rd friend asked for her food to be made to go, and we waited another couple of minutes for an order put in an hour previous.
Our waiter was very apologetic, so I don't know if they were just severely understaffed, but I think after not getting her food for an hour and asking for it repeatedly, my friend should have gotten her meal comped; which it wasn't. We still tipped our waiter as it's not their fault they were busy, out of a main meat by lunch on a Friday, and understaffed, but it really makes us consider ever going there again,...
Read moreOrdered over $30 worth of food as my decision was based on the many positive reviews but was sorely disappointed. Let’s start off with the only positive thing which was the chicken wings, they were tasty, not overly heavy on the breading. The fried tofu I got was BLAND, not even salted. I get it that it comes with a side of sauce but I shouldn’t have to mask the tastiness with sauce all over. I would have thought you can’t mess up on plain fried tofu but it tasted bland and I could tell it was precooked, sat for awhile. Wonton Noodle Soup was terrible, the soup base had a strange taste like it wasn’t fresh so after a few bites, had to toss. The combo fried rice was bland too. Maybe it was a one-time off but it was my first time ordering and wanted to support a local business but unfortunately it seemed the cooks prepared the food with zero passion. It was a Monday I ordered so perhaps not the usual cooks? Need more love in...
