Earlier today I ordered a chicken salad sandwich in the drive-thru. I purposely added the word toasted to my order as every time I get a chicken salad sandwich here it is never toasted. Ok pause, it is slightly toasted to where it has the consistency of stale bread. I thought if I actually said "toasted" it would indicate I would actually like the.bread component of the sandwich to resemble toast.
I left the parking lot, then upon my discovery of the lack of sufficient toasting I drove back, got out of my car and went in. I gave it to the attendant and said "I would like this toasted please." He went and consulted, who I presume is their toast expert, who informed him it was in fact toasted. Which he relayed to me but said he could make me another one. I just said "you know.." And placed it on the counter and left.
The people at this location are exceptionally kind and all around nice folks. The food however is never on mark.
I should have taken a picture of the pale wheaten bread that was "toasted" to provide empirical evidence for my rant but I didn't think to do it. After all this isn't Instagram.
At any rate, nice folks but...
Read moreIf you’re going through the drive through and want fast service then you do not want to go to the outside drive through lane. Having made several visits to this location I have experienced and witnessed on multiple occasions the interior lane become completely empty while the outside lane is backed up with cars that had been waiting well before the interior lane cars had even pulled up. This location is the only place that focuses on the interior lane more then equally doing both lanes. And I had preordered online. If dining inside don’t expect to be assisted when you approach the register. That is if no one is standing before you when you arrive. The junior staff members will completely ignore your presence. The only way I received service is when a manager finally came out from the back. Food wise it’s okay in comparison to other locations, except they like to cook the chicken a little longer then other locations so it’s a little tougher and darker then say the location near...
Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences Ive had with Chick Fil A. This location did not ask for my name when placing order, not to mention I waited in line for over 20 minutes for a chicken biscuit and hash browns. When I pulled to the window they advised me that I would have to wait because they are making biscuits, so an additional wait after being in line for over 20 minutes. I finally had to get out of my car and go in and ask how much longer due to the fact I had been waiting for some time now. The manager did not apologize for the wait! They were under staffed, which is not ideal when you are located near a college, and they were not prepared for the morning rush. I will NEVER go back to this Chick - Fil A. This store is not the standard for Chick Fil A. They can truly learn a thing or two from the location on 33rd! If you have a choice do not visit this location take the few extra minutes to go to the location on 33rd! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT...
