Dear Papa Murphy's Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and share some feedback regarding my experiences at different Papa Murphy's locations.
My family and I have been loyal customers of Papa Murphy's pizza for over 20 years. We reside just a few blocks from the Mountlake Terrace location on 44th and 212th. Unfortunately, our experiences at this location have consistently been disappointing due to the curt and rude behavior of the staff. There seems to be a large lack of customer service, kindness, manners and etiguette at Mountlake Terrace location which is quite disheartening.
I would like to share a personal experience to illustrate my point. On one occasion, I visited the Mountlake Terrace location shortly after showering, with no makeup and dressed in casual sweats. Very tired and had a very hard week. I was treated rudely when I questions an email offer and even laughed at by the staff when I said other papa murphys honor it and I was trying to understand why not them. In contrast, another visit after work, when I was dressed in work clothes with makeup, hair done and jewelry, resulted in a much kinder treatment. This inconsistency in customer service speaks for itself.
As a result, we have chosen to frequent the Edmonds location instead. I would like to commend Michelle and Jade at the Edmonds location for their exceptional service. They are always kind, friendly, and genuine, making our visits pleasant and enjoyable.
I also want to address a recent promotion that Papa Murphy's sent out via email. The promotion did not specify that it was online only, and despite having five different people review it, we could not find any indication of this restriction. While we generally have no issue ordering online, there are times when circumstances make it difficult, and the online options do not always allow for specific customizations. During a recent visit to the Edmonds location, we were getting pizzas for our elderly mother, and Michelle went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and that promotion. Michelle did inform us that it was an online only offer but also recognized that it did not specify in the email and bottom line wanted to accomodate her customers; further demonstrating the excellent attitudes and customer service at this location.
As much as we have always supported our local community, we also find value in supporting the experiance and customer service. We recommend the Edmonds location on 99 to our friends and family in Mountlake Terrace. Thank you for staying true to excellent and kind customer service. Your attitudes and support are very much...
Read moreI moved near by and happily switched to the location closest me. I do not consume dairy products and was very stoked when papa Murphy’s started offering dairy free options. I always order the oil based GARLIC sauce as pictured below with the exception of one time when I made a mistake. I apologized for the mistake though the owner/manager went on about how expensive it is to remake pizzas and I felt so bad that I tipped 15 dollars.
I spoke to the manager today because it looked like no sauce was added to my pizza. She said that I ordered olive oil. I showed her my order that said oil based dairy free garlic sauce and instead of helping me look into the issue.. blamed me for coming in and complaining all the time when I’ve only ever spoken to her one other time. She also stated that she always only uses olive oil when this option is selected. She did end up letting me take the garlic sauce, but I feel like I’d just been shit on.
I can’t believe how extremely rude she was to me. I’ve contacted the main franchise customer service line and hope to hear from them soon for clarification on their dairy free garlic sauce. It doesn’t make sense that I would order a dairy feee oil based garlic sauce and only ever get olive oil.
I will be posting an update when I hear back from them. I will no longer support this franchise ever again. The Lake Forest Park papa Murphy I used to use was so wonderful.. I am so disappointed in you Edmonds. I’m going to try Mountlake Terrace.
I’ve also ordered pizza here before and wasn’t told they were completely out of tomatoes before I picked up… really?
UPDATE: I heard back from papa murphy’s and apparently they have a garlic flavored oil they use for dairy free options. I am keeping my review the same for the way this woman spoke to me and the fact that she couldn’t even clarify what I was asking properly. This manager really needs to work on her conflict resolution skills. Still never coming here again after being...
Read moreI placed an order with this location for one gluten free pizza for myself (I have a gluten intolerance) and a non gf pizza for my partner.
This was after I had tried to place the same order at the Lake Forest Park location. the LFP location called me to let me know they were out of gluten free crust, and that they'd refund the order for me (as of this writing they have not, I will review their location separately).
This Edmonds location did not call me, but informed me that they did not have any gluten free crust when I came to pick the order up. They also told me they would refund the order then next day as well as call me.
They also have yet to refund the order or contact me, and it's been about a week and a half since. I have tried to go through Papa Murphy's online support, who assured me they would get the stores to refund me in 3-5 business days, I have yet to receive a refund or contact.
The food here is fine and I don't blame the location for running out of something, but I absolutely will not order again knowing that it's so hard to get refunded in the event that there's something wrong with the order.
UPDATE: I did finally receive a refund from the store as well as a text from one of the staff apologizing. Glad to see...
