Boba Kafe — Restaurant in Egg Harbor Township

Their drinks look nothing like the cute pictures they have online. First I ordered a Specialty Tiramisu and they gave me a plain boba. I went back to see if they made a mistake and they said no. As you can see in the picture it was not a blended milkshake, no cream on top, or coffee drizzle…tasted like watery plain boba. He didn’t want to refund my $8 for whatever reason so he offered to make another drink. I asked for the Tiramisu he said no. I asked for Dalgona Latte he said no. I ended up ordering a Taro Oreo. In all honesty it tastes ok…he gave it to me in a small cup and there was no ice cream and cookie on top. I asked about it and he said “it’s just a different presentation.” Whatever.

If you’re a fan of “the backrooms” or horror movies, this might be the place for you! Flicking lights, cob webs, and a whole maze just to get to the place. You’re led down an eerie long hallway where a man watches you enter, or if you’re lucky, just a kiosk/ghost cashier where you have to enter in your order. This place offers several different “kitchens” which are all technically from the same kitchen. Lastly the kiosk forces you to input your phone number. Okay so the shop is hidden and you have to go through a scary dark hallway with flickering lights. So not a good location. After asking the clerk for my order he said “it’s in the fridge”.
