The Arc Makes Cents, Too! Thrift Store — Local services in Egg Harbor Township

I made a purchase this past Friday, 12/8/23, and I was checked out at the register by an employee, a very large African/American woman with very short black hair & glasses. She was rude, unfriendly & made her disdain for me very apparent, making me feel awful, but the more I thought about this interaction with her, I felt less hurt & more angry! Please, to "The Arc management" speak to this woman about her behavior, I also witnessed her being less than kind to another shopper. If I visit the store again and I see her there I will immediately leave. Perhaps she would be more suited for a position where she isn't required to interact...

Staff is VERY friendly but I HAD to give them stars because their prices are OUTRAGEOUS for items that are donated for free! I understand they are trying to make money for a great organization but, with that being said they are a thrift store NOT an antique shop! Also they aren’t taking donations because they already have way to much (I was told) well, if you charge thrift store prices instead of boutique prices you will actually move...

Love this thrift shop. Always clean with a good selection. A designer clothes section as well as lots of brand new clothes. Lots of collectables. Decent amount of furniture, as well as brand new mattresses. Clothing is sorted by type, size, and the shirts are even sorted by color which I like quite a bit.
