I used to go to Antiguas a lot before I deployed and recently returned. I went today and wanted an adult beverage at lunch and all I had for ID on me is my military ID. I was denied said beverage because my GOVERNMENT issued ID card was not an acceptable ID. In all of my 17 years of service, this was the first time for that. Management needs to open up the books and brush up on this:
Valid Federal or National Issued Documents US Passport or US Passport Card US Military identification card (active duty, retired, reserve or dependent) US Visa or Admissions stamp with a Foreign Passport US Resident Alien Card or Permanent Resident Card (I-551) US Employment Authorization Card Valid State-Issued Driver Licenses We accept valid driver licenses/driver authorization cards from each of the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia and U.S. Territories (American Samoa, Guam, Marianas, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands). A non-driver DMV issued ID card may substitute for a driver license. Read moreThe restaurant offered a variety of dishes i am used to finding on the menu of a Mexican Restaurant.
But there was selections off the menu that i found to be unique. My son's selection was a large shrimp flauta but not on a corn tortilla and not as cruncy. The shrimp stood out and was not buried in the flauta.
The dish i selected was the Chile Relleno. I do wish i had chosen a different topping. The plate with the rice n beans, guacamole, and the frozen margarita was very satisfying, delish, and the margarita as good as i remember.
The dish selected by Lily was a variation of shrimp fajitas.
Our waiter Israel was courteous, and did his job perfecto! The ambiance in the restaurant was good, and the overall staff interactions was courteous, making me feel at home.
Overall, i would very much like to return for a taste of a different dish, but my visit is for RxR, and...
Read moreWe were visiting family from out of state and stayed in El Dorado. After checking into our hotel, we decided we wanted some Mexican food, so I did a search online for a restaurant that was still open. The website said that they were still open, but when I called I found out that the Google page was incorrect with their posted times. They closed at 9pm, which is exactly when I called. What surprised me was the sweet woman on the phone told me to come on over and pick up the order, they would be there when I got there. They really made my family’s evening, since we were able to eat some good food that didn’t come from a fast food window, and it was really delicious! If we ever pass through this area again, we will definitely stop by and...
