Progress On Main — Restaurant in El Monte

First and foremost, how do you have 4 bartenders and have lines so long that it takes 15 to get a drink and it's not that busy on a Saturday night. You have staff standing texting instead of taking orders. I don't understand why we just can't walk up to the bar and order a drink we have to make 1 extremely long line. A couple just got 2 pitchers for themselves because they were tired of waiting on the long line. Service is extremely low. I don't know who is in charge but they need to crack the whip on staff. When I went up a have a bartender taking my order and another processing the payment. Why do you 2 people doing the job of 1 person? As far as drinks, palomas were good but the modelo pitchers tasted watered down. I have always hated that you guys can't have beer tasting the same ever and what's more shocking is that modelo already comes made. I honestly don't know what's going on here. I hope they get their act together. There was no dj yesterday (Saturday) just the jukebox and wasn't really busy.... I can see why. I like progress back from the 1st spot you guys had but cmon...

Through Yelp Elite This was an interesting event since we've never heard of this place. We got there around 8:30 PM on a week night and the place was fairly empty. We didn't get a goody bag compared to the other reviews though.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Yelp event drink was very spicy but the SO loved it with the tamaroca around the rim. Didn't care too much for the paper even when soaked with liquid.

Ambience: 5/5 - fairly quiet and lots of space! There were a few pinball machines and many tv with different games on

Service: 5/5 - We were greeted fairly quickly and once checked in they were able to get our beer but only the male bartender knew how to make the special event drink.

Value for price: 5/5 - fair pricing for drinks. Would come back for the happy hour and to try more drinks!

Hello Progress. Im writing this review to let u guys know what a terrible experience we had. About a month ago, me along with 4 other friends went to your bar and was eventually kicked out by the blond with the terrible attitude. As soon as our group got there, she was giving us bad vibes always staring at our group. We were waiting for a couple of more friends to arrive and while we were waiting, a couple of us started to vape and without warning she called security to kick us out. We been to progress before and vaped before but this time the blond had the bad attitude. We will never be returning to this progress anymore. Kevin or Diego, please train your staff better about proper customer service. We dont think what we did deserved to be kicked...
