Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in El Paso

First time visiting this location it was empty for the early part of lunchtime and that should have screamed RUN! Plentiful parking and clean atmosphere inside although the parking lot could do with some attention. My first impression…pretty apathetic staff! Absolutely NO ONE greets you upon entering. I just stood there and checked the place out for a minute before walking to the counter. It’s then I realized why nobody said anything when I walked in…you have to order through a touchscreen and figure it all out on your own. The staff just watched me finger my way through the menu offering NOTHING but unchanging faces. Initially I thought maybe I forgot to put pants on or something to explain the quiet stares! It kinda creeped me out. In addition to the unwelcoming touchscreen and staff, there was no hand sanitizer to be seen!! In this post pandemic world I would recommend placing a bottle near the touchscreen since the staff appears afraid of contact of any kind. I ordered the Old School Cheesesteak. I’m from Philly so I know exactly how a good cheesesteak tastes. This one was pretty good, although not the same as Geno’s, Pats or any other Philly shop but hey…we’re in the desert southwest. I added original fries which to me were soggy and cold. The strawberry lemonade was a bit sweet but still refreshing on a hot day. I don’t think I’ll return to this location anytime soon. I much prefer a more welcoming staff. It’s important to greet your customers and not behave as if a unicorn visited the establishment. Too many places to visit to...

I have to admit, I've been to many charleys in my past and this charleys is hands down the most AMAZING CHARLEYS SINCE CHARLEYS EVER EXISTED! This is all thanks to the customer service I received from Madison. My already bad day turned out for the worst as I found out my pet turtle died from getting hit by bus and my OWN DOG chasing after him only to get hit by another car passing by. I would always go to this location both with my dog and turtle for some afternoon snacking time with me feeding my dog the meat and turtle some lettuce. After this whole incident I needed something to clear my mind off this tragedy but also bring back the fond memories I had with them. THANKS TO MADISON I was able to relive this cherish memory of my animals with the heart felt speech said by them that put me into tears and had me weeping in my car for close to an hour, life felt worth living again because of them. People should look up to a person like this and feel disgrace for the negative ways they live their horrible disgusting life. 10/10...

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Charleys Cheesesteaks was so bad I feel like I have to say something. I went in just expecting a decent meal and left completely shocked at how poorly I was treated, especially by the manager….I ordered a simple cheesesteak meal and when I got it, the order was completely wrong. I politely explained the issue and asked if they could remake it. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the manager got defensive, rolled their eyes, and acted like I was inconveniencing them by asking for the food I actually paid for. No empathy at all, literally just straight attitude….I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t loud. I was calm and respectful, and still got treated like I was the problem. The staff looked uncomfortable too, like this wasn’t the first time the manager acted this way. I ended up leaving without eating because honestly, the vibe was so off I didn’t feel...
