Sure! Here’s a well-written and friendly review for Chihuahua Charlie’s Mexican Restaurant in El Paso, Texas: ⸻ 5 Stars – A Must-Try in El Paso! Chihuahua Charlie’s is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in El Paso! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The décor is charming and authentic, creating the perfect vibe for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The food is absolutely amazing—full of bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. Whether it’s their sizzling fajitas, delicious enchiladas, or homemade tortillas, everything is cooked to perfection. You can really taste the love and tradition in every bite. The service is just as impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready with a recommendation or a refill. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience is nothing short of excellent. If you’re in El Paso and craving real, flavorful Mexican food, Chihuahua Charlie’s is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back! ⸻

First time visiting and the food was intensely spicy 🌶️. From the Carioca appetizer to the main dishes, everything had serious heat. With plates averaging $28, this place leans toward upscale dining. Is it worth the price? Maybe, if the dishes are exceptional. I ordered the mahi mahi, which was disappointingly dry. My mom had “carne en su jugo”, she enjoyed the flavor but also found it overwhelmingly spicy. If you go, steak seems to be the safer bet, but only if you’ve got a high spice tolerance. Parking is limited, which makes arrival a bit stressful. The building has a lively atmosphere, but it was uncomfortably warm, likely due to a broken AC 🥵. The drinks were the highlight; delicious, though pricey. The crowd was notable: familiar faces like billboard lawyers, CEOs, county judges, and business owners. It’s clearly a popular local spot and a solid place for networking. Would I return? Probably not. The spice level, dry fish, and heat inside made it a one-and-done experience for me.

This was a first time visit and was very pleased with my choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly. This location has an upstairs area and also a lower dining area. As for the food options there were plenty of choices for every taste. The choices I had were the cauliflower steak and the dry fideo. Very pleased with both choices. The starter rolls that are brought fresh and warm were delicious and had a very tasty surprise inside!!!! The deserts were VERY tasty and they all looked very appetizing. We had the crepes and were very pleased with our choice. The atmosphere was very inviting and open and allowed for pleasant conversation during our meal. I look forward to trying more options in the future.

We went to celebrate a Friend’s Birthday on a Sunday at 3 pm, 3 servers came to take our drink order and we had to remind them to bring it to us 3 times because they forgot it , the drink order was wrong when it finally came, the server ( a young girls very shy) took our food order, they were out of oysters, when the food came after one hour, they gave me the wrong plate , we ask the server if that was the right one and she didn’t know, I had to go to the entrance of the kitchen to ask for it, everyone ate and my food was not served, after everyone had eaten my food came and I ask them to please put it in a box to go, the manager came to our table and we told him our concerns and he was discussing with us about why the service was like that, my friend asked for water and the water never came, when we got the bill , my food was charged for , I asked the manager if he could remove it from the bill since I was not able to eat because it came at the end , he did , the server forgot one of the credit cards , we had to ask for it, and we were waiting to pay and they never came to pick up the signed bills, we had to get up and call them to be able to pay and leave. We were so excited to go to Chihuahua Charlie since we remembered from the 80s but unfortunately even though the food was good , the service was terrible and we...
