Denny's — Restaurant in El Paso

Okay so i started working here about a week ago...this place is disgusting. Im sorry. But i have to tell you the truth. The kitchen is nasty...the overhead range has grease dripping down on to cooking stations..there is food on the walls...and backsplash the sinks and hand washing stations don't work..the refrigerators dont work..they use ice to keep the things on the line cool...nobody had a thermometer to check temperature.....there is a leak causing water to pool on the floor..that appeared to be a milk substance...white....there is old food that has Ben sitting for weeks in between the deep fryer..to the point it is overflowing on to the flat top...the deep fryer oil is beyond nasty..it looks like used motor oil...and hasn't been changed in months...they put clean dishes with dirty dishes ...there where dirty used gloves on the floor that nobody attempted to pick up...the main cook...never washed his hands the whole day...he sticks his hands from cooked meat..into cheese...and on to other food..cross contaminated that whole kitchen...the cutting boards looked like they have not be cleaned in months..i lifted one and was shocked to see the amount of build up...i was told by and employee that the use knifes to scrap of the staining...wow...they dont have sanitizer stations that have been properly calibrated ...you get it from the dishwasher...they dont use date and day codes...and store meats on top of fries that are not covered...i was very concerned about this...the head cook told me everything is broke here...and welcome to dennys....seems like he should not be training people with that kind of attitude. After my first day of work i couldn't see myself being in that kind of invorment. And have not returned.. Please be careful and you should choose to eat some where else...i woukd not eat anything from...

I have never experienced such bad customer service and such a bad demeanor than I did today The person I was with was actually a friend of my father which is a soldier and we both talk very neglected and dismissed in all the requests My father is actually the command charging major at Fort Bliss I cannot wait till my father gets home to let him know the experience I had at this dennys we will never eat at this restaurant ever again and we will let our friends know of the very poor service and dismissal behavior we had from our server a light complected short young man with brown hair named Brandon we will make sure to let our friends know never to visit his restaurant because they will be treated like a pest not a customer I have never felt my money so undervalued in my life and I hope one day that people in charge will take these matters into consideration and fix the issues this used to be my favorite restaurant if anybody in charge reasons I would take a very close look at how your employees are being trained and that they need to understand that we don't need to be a bother but when things are forgotten and our services are great of course we're going to keep asking them for things but it makes us very uncomfortable when they have an attitude in their demeanor and make us feel like...

Very disappointed. This morning, 01/13/2025, My daughter and I walked in at 9:30 a.m., the restaurant was not busy at all, so we thought we were going to get good service. Maybe 10 customers in the restaurant. We were seated promptly, and the person that seated us was very friendly. However, after that, it was like "out of sight, out of mind". After that, no one came over to offer us coffee or to see if we needed anything to drink. We kept seeing waitresses having conversations with each other, and the waitress that had our section, would clean tables around us, but did not come over to us. After about 10 minutes, I tried to wave one of them over, and she actually waved back and did not come over. By then, it seemed comical. So, we decided to get up and leave, because they were just too comfortable having their conversation ( enjoying their break because there were so few customers) and we thought, if it's already going this way, the whole breakfast experience will have that same bad feel to it. We headed over to Village Inn on Trawood, where we were promptly greeted, offered coffee and the service was exceptional, and the food delicious. This Denny's was our favorite place to come before. Don't know what happened there, but you really dropped the ball, Village Inn on Trawood never...
