I’ve always loved Glias and genuinely enjoy supporting them, especially knowing they’re a small business… something I really value since I also own a small business. I was excited to pick up my order, but unfortunately this experience left me disappointed. I arrived 2 minutes after closing because my class ended right before, but I had already placed and paid for my order online. I knocked since the gate was closed, and the owner opened the door looking frustrated and said ‘Yes??’ I explained I was picking up an online order, and he asked for my name, then closed the door while giving me an annoyed look. A minute later, he handed me my order and said ‘Have a good day,’ but the whole interaction felt rude and dismissive. I completely understand it was after closing, but a little kindness goes a long way—especially when I had already paid and just needed to grab my order. I hope they can work on their customer service, because I really want to continue...
Read moreWent for the teacher appreciation free coffee. Cashier’s service was polite. After ordering the free coffee I was offered to purchase food. So I purchased a slice of cake to reciprocate and support local. The upside down orange cake was $4 plus tax and tip. Based on the portion size and quality of the cake (dry, small) it made the experience not super worth it. The iced coffee was ok but not outstanding compared to other local coffee shops in the area. The flavor was pretty standard. But it comes with a cute cookie. The location is nice and clean and it shares space with other shops. A little insignificant detail was that the cup had no branding like the ones on their social. The cake was a dealbreaker for me from coming back. But I’m thankful for the free coffee to support local...
Read moreI’ve never written a review, and I’m a little sad to write such a poor one. I’ve been coming to Glia’s for years, and I’ve definitely noticed a steady decline. Not only with quality (My nearly $8 matcha should not be grainy or pale!!), but also with service. The owner, Ramon, definitely weighs the brand down. He doesn’t know how to treat customers, and more often than not makes you feel like a burden for spending YOUR money at his establishment. The employees look tired and god knows for what kind of pay knowing how El Paso can be. I can’t continue to support a shop that uses such low quality products now for almost double the price it was when they first started with what looks like very little care for customers...
