Hooters — Restaurant in El Paso

I don’t even know where to begin. Actually I do know where to begin. I was asked by my wife to join her and a group of our friends at this establishment for dinner. Knowing that it was a Monday night I was sure that it would not be too crowded and it should be a relaxing evening with good food and friends. Boy was I mistaken! I was the last one to arrive only to find that no one had even received their first drink. They had been there more than 20 minutes. I looked around to see who our server might be and she was nowhere in sight. While I was waiting I was told that everyone had already ordered. They made a joke and said when you order your drink you should order two. I took them at their word and ordered two glasses of tea. It is a good thing I did because little did I know it would be quite a while before I would get anymore. All the people at my table were eventually served incorrect food with no utensils and I expected to wait a few minutes longer for mine. About 30 minutes later I asked when my food would be out. I asked twice more before I received my inedible overcooked food. At this point we were all frustrated and lost our appetites. We started looking for our server to pay our bill and leave. Every time we try to Get her attention She ignored us. So we checked with the hostess to see if we could pay the bill with her. She said that she would need to get her manager and have her run the bill for us. The manager showed up at the hostes Stand with an attitude and called us rude. We eventually were able to pay the bill and left. We decided to go to a different establishment and have our meal. I hope that no one else has to go through this kind of experience in the future. This will definitely be the last time I visit this...

We went to this location with some friends and the hubby, it being our first time and let me tell ya, complete disappointment. The host here being the first point of contact, was in fact nice and welcoming. But after that, it went downhill. Waited about 20mins to get seated for our table of 6, and when we followed the girl she gave us a booth. Us looking at her confused saying we said for 6 people. Took us back to the front to wait again for a better seated area, and took almost another 40mins. Heard the manager ask the host what's going on with our party and when they asked for my name, she said, "Oh no, they were crossed out from the wait list ". 😑. So we were standing around the whole time for nothing basically. Finally got us seated and when our waitress walked over, she just looked ughhhh. Lol, damn ok. She was not attentive. Got our cocktails wrong and didn't bring out the correct ordered food. Btw, food was not great at all. The chicken on our nachos was too salty, and the tiny wings were too damn expensive. At the end, our waitress finally came around to bring us the check, after not seeing her for awhile. Mind you, it wasn't even a busy night. There were empty tables off to our left side of the room. Gave us the check with everyones orders on it, when she literally asked us first if we were going to be all together or separate when seated. Had to wait again for the correct receipts. Can't say we'll return to this place. Maybe the Hooters by Cielo Vista is better, but this place can't be recommended. They should have left this restaurant as The Cattle Baron. Smh. Honestly I was very excited about Hooters opening up on the east side. I went last Friday and I was disappointed. There was no parking lots of people waiting outside and when we went inside there was a lot of empty tables. Getting a drinks took forever even asked for just a water until my drink came from the bar even a simple water took forever. My girl order her boneless wings honey chipotle when her food came they definitely weren’t honey chipotle they were super spicy for her. We told the waitress she than called the manager and the manager argued that it was the correct flavor. She then came back brought a new batch and you could easily see the color of the wings changed and the manager admitted they did put the wrong flavor. She did not enjoy them due to are whole party was already finishing there food and her wings were cold. Manager noticed she didn’t eat them and didn’t even offer to take them off the ticket.

I went back Monday for Monday night football to give them another chance, parking and wait wasn’t bad. But the service was horrible again drinks took forever to get to the table I literally got my wings before I got my beer. My boneless wings were cold and they weren’t all boneless two of them had bones in them. My buddy ordered his wings all flats we saw the waitress write all flats he got all drums when his order came. He sent them back manger came back to replace them and again she brought back all drums. On the third try they finally got it right.
