La Coa Cantina y Cocina — Restaurant in El Paso

I recently visited Good Coffee Mexican Restaurant and had a generally pleasant experience.

Upon arrival, I was surprised at how limited parking was for the restaurant.

First off, the aesthetics of the place were great – clean, modern, and inviting, with a nice atmosphere that made for a comfortable dining experience.

The restaurant was well-kept, and the overall vibe was relaxing.

The service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It’s always nice when the service matches the environment, and here, it did!

As for the food, it was decent. The flavors were good, and the portion sizes were decent, but nothing that really wowed me.

The margaritas were just ok. I didn’t find them to be particularly remarkable compared to others I’ve had in the area. Still, they paired well with the meal, so no complaints there!

Overall, Good Coffee Mexican Restaurant offers a solid dining experience. While the margaritas weren’t necessarily a standout, the food, service, and ambiance made for an enjoyable time.

I would return for another meal and would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual spot to enjoy some...

Service was decent, the managers are nice people but need to inform themselves about liquor prices and even TABC laws. 2 bottles we asked for on a Friday night both sitting up there with TABC tag still on but less than an ounce left in them and no back up bottles. Trying to charge a well used bottle as a call or premium saying that only because it says something on the tag it should cost more... not consistent in how much they pour, exact 1oz shot glasses poured 3 quarters of the way and not every pour is the same...... gratuity starting at 6 people and we were only 5 and still had it charged.... It was fine and everything but we are...

Food was amazing. The meat and beans were well seasoned, the plate was reasonably priced. It was a little odd to have to ask for tortillas with a plate like Huevos con Picadillo, our server struggled to hear us and everything we ordered seemed to have a mistake because she couldn't hear us (or maybe we couldn't hear her?) The room was loud when we first arrived, half way through Sunday brunch live music started, which made conversation at our table and with the server even more difficult.

The staff were professional and very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great spot...
