I've tasted the enchiladas from here and they're not bad, but expensive $7.00 + tax for 3 little cheese enchiladas lettuce and tomato salad with rice 😲 and this was through a coworker, not worth it if you ask me. I figured if their enchilada sauce is decent then the ranchero sauce would be good so I gave them a shot for breakfast. My first experience with the restaurant: I ordered huevos rancheros TO-GO, over the phone, 15 MINUTES before I started walking 3 blocks from my workplace to pick it up. I got there and they knew nothing of my order. The lady at the front had the nerve to tell me it would be "tres minutitos" for it to be ready. GTFOH. I had them cancel the order and walked back only to be late and with no breakfast. Not going back. Edit: it was actually lettuce and tomato not rice. Edit: 07/04 I've actually ordered at least 6 times since the last review. I decided to give it another go and they delivered on time and it was delicious. Exactly the huevos rancheros I've been looking for in downtown. 😋 They come with extra tortillas to mop up the great sauce, ketchup for the hashbrowns and the beans are real beans and good with some cheese on top. Even comes with some salt and pepper so their not pretentious. Friendly delivery man. Total redemption from 2 stars to 5. I've only ordered the huevos rancheros everytime and it's consistent so I may change it up soon and try...
Read moreCome for a great breakfast, take a great lunch to go! The hotcakes, sausage and eggs were great! Exactly as they should be and a good size portion. For less than 8 bucks! I am stunned! The lunch to go was the flautas and asada burrito. The burrito was $4 and is on the smaller side, but I would be lying if I did not say it was one of the best burritos I have ever had! The flavor and salsa the meat was just great! We were able to get 2 breakfast and 2 lunches for less than $32 bucks! Like this does not happen ever! Such a great deal for such good food! Side note: get ready to see Dallas cowboys everywhere. The place is a super fan. They have pictures and memorabilia almost everywhere, and we mean everywhere, even on the fan blades on the...
Read moreSo I found this place as I happen to be walking around downtown this morning. I guess it's been here quite a while just by the amount of memorabilia on the wall. Perfect rest cowboys fans!! This is a great little hole in the wall cafe with great service in amazing food. It was a toss up between the chilaquiles and the menudo, but I went with the chilaquiles rojos. The red sauce was nice and spicy the chips were just right and maybe the best beans I've ever eaten. But I still kind of regret not getting that the minuto. A couple that Sat at the table next to me ordered it and it looked delicious. That gives me another reason to try this little hole in the wall again!! If you are ever downtown and hungry,...
