I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in downtown El Paso, and let me tell you, it's unlike any cocktail bar I've ever been to. The atmosphere is fantastic – a true hidden gem. But the real stars of the show are the cocktails! My bartender, Riley, was incredible. She crafted some of the most interesting and delicious cocktails I've ever had. Not only did they taste fantastic, but she even shared a bit of the history behind them and how they were made. For those with a sweet tooth and a whiskey kick, I highly recommend the "Palomita Negra." If you're looking for a smoky and spicy adventure, the "Al Pastor Margarita" with its mezcal infused with peppers is a must-try! It packs a punch of unexpected heat. While I only stopped in for drinks, the food menu looked absolutely delicious, with dishes designed to complement their creative cocktails. Apparently, Thursdays turn into a blast from the past with karaoke nights! Picture a room full of people belting out Johnny Cash classics and a few other classic old school singers here Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton. It looked like a ton of fun for anyone who enjoys a good sing along. And here's the kicker – they have a whole separate mezcal bar on the second floor! If you're a mezcal fan, you don't want to miss this hidden gem within a hidden gem. Overall, this place is a total winner. Fantastic drinks, knowledgeable staff, a fun atmosphere, and potentially delicious food – what more could you ask for? I can't wait to go back and explore more of their cocktail menu since I only had 3.

Oh man I was so disappointed after my first time here. I arrived at 6:30 and was seated right away. There were other patrons but not super busy. First off, they do not have the same menu from before. They condensed it and same with with the cocktails which I was so bummed because I really liked their cocktail that was served in a cactus cup. I was looking forward to trying their food only to be notified they dont have that menu anymore. Second, Our server was taking a while to bring us a beer and I didnt see many people ordering food so we were about to leave when she chased us out the door and asked if we still wanted the beer. We said yes and I proceeded to order their lucky charms cocktail which did not contain any of the ingredients listed on the description of the drink. It wasnt milky and it didnt contain any lucky charms. It was good but they still charged me the $20 for god knows what. Its a shame because the first time I came here I tried a variety of their cocktails and the bartender was super good! I love the ambiance here but sadly will probably not return.

Rude bartenders and I uninviting. We asked for a Grey Goose martini with no vermouth and they charged us 3 for separate shots. I asked the bartender why he didn’t charge us for a martini. They obviously had been drinking because all I heard were ignorant responses. I’m a bartender that creates original cocktails for restaurants ( hint, it’s what I do for a living) visiting from Austin and have an idea of what I’m talking about. Just in case anybody drinks there, their pours are 1oz per shot and the industry standard is 1.5oz. The bartender proceeded to state that it would be illegal to make a martini with no vermouth because of how much alcohol is in there. What? I’ve never been to such a cheapskate bar with people pretending to know about bartending. Can’t wait to show my friends back home so they can get a kick out of this. Save yourself a headache and go to the Berkeley next door, it’s a much better time.

Last night, I witnessed an incredibly disturbing incident that left me in disbelief. Allow me to provide some context: I have been a regular patron of this establishment for nearly 10 months, enjoying the great atmosphere and cool ambiance. However, there has always been a persistent issue with the manager's rude demeanor. It has become somewhat expected that he would become intoxicated while performing as a karaoke DJ, resulting in the loss of song lists and the neglect of customers. This ongoing problem has caused immense frustration among patrons, leading to a tarnished reputation for this venue as the worst place for karaoke when the manager is drunk.

As a regular, I am well aware that singing is not guaranteed, but the other staff members, particularly the bartenders, have always been friendly and welcoming, keeping us coming back. However, last night, the manager snapped at me without any apparent reason. To make matters worse, he also directed his anger at a customer who was celebrating his birthday. Despite these unsettling encounters, I decided to brush them off and continue enjoying my evening.

Moments later, I witnessed another regular customer approach the manager, inquiring why he had been promised the next spot in the karaoke lineup two hours ago, only to be repeatedly overlooked. Shockingly, the manager proceeded to kick this customer out of the bar. This individual, known for their gentle nature and aversion to confrontation, left the premises briefly, only to return shortly after. To my utter disbelief, the manager, clearly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of drugs, forcefully expelled the customer once again, this time throwing him to the ground. The impact was so severe that the customer struck his head forcefully.

Disturbed by this horrifying scene, I hastily exited the establishment to assess the situation. I offered my support to the injured customer, someone I had come to know over the past months, urging him to leave with me. It has been an internal struggle for me, contemplating whether or not to ever return to this place. However, I firmly believe that I cannot support a venue that employs such an unprofessional and abusive manager. The manager's bullying behavior towards customers is absolutely appalling, and it is imperative that he is removed from...

We went to The Reagan for brunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation but after we got there we noticed that we didnt really need it. There was only 4 other people there. Which is kind of a shame because its a really beautiful place with a great vibe and great drinks and more people should know about and visit the brunch. The options were ok. No pancakes at a brunch place is a little disappointing. We were in a group of 8 so i got to see different things being ordered. All the drinks (alcoholic) were a 10 out of 10. As for the food there was discrepancies. The samplers were missing items that were listed in the menu and we had to ask for those items. My plate, the huevos rancheros were good, but the salsa was a bit overwhelming. The pozole is REALLY good. That was the best plate there. My biggest complaint is the bacon. For a trendy place like this I would be expecting the bacon to be paper thin and kinda tasteless. Its very underwhelming. Literally every place you can think of has better bacon. I would want some nice thick slices of bacon, maybe pepper or honey glazed. Overall i would recommend to check it out knowing that it wont be the best food you'll every eat but the drinks are great and the vibe is...
