Piercing Overview:
Food/Drink: 8.5 out of 10
The refreshers here are sooo good and fresh with my favorite flavor being the grapefruit refresher. As an appetizer, my go to is always the hummus. To be honest before coming to El Paso, I really did not care for hummus. But once I tried the hummus from Lamezze I was quickly HOOKED. It is served with pita bread and fresh peppers. You can't go wrong with pita bread but the peppers elevate the taste of the hummus and adds a nice crunch! My go to entree order is the Candied Salmon which has a sweet and savory combo going on. All of Lamezze's portions are a good size so you will definitely leave satisfied.
Ambiance: 9.5 out of 10
It's very cute and intimate, perfect for a brunch or lunch spot. However I would suggest getting a reservation during lunch time because they get PACKED very quickly.
Price: $ (Military Discount with ID)
This restaurant is decently priced, very much worth the amount of food you get. Plus they offer a Military discount if you show your ID.
Parking: 6 out of 10
There is only street parking available so you may be competing within Downtown traffic and parking, depending on the time you go. However there are parking lot and garage options nearby that are less than a 5 minute walk away.

Read moreWe had a decent but far from exceptional experience during our first meal at Lamezze. The service was friendly but slow; they seemed to be a bit understaffed perhaps. The food was fine—shawarma was good, and my wife’s salmon was tasty as well, albeit a very small portion for a main course. We were never offered a drink menu, but I did notice as our meal was almost over that another table had received one and ordered cocktails. We would have liked to do the same had we known they were available!
The ambiance unfortunately left a lot to be desired. For a place that seems at least somewhat interested in being perceived as “upscale,” it really shouldn’t be acceptable to seat patrons immediately next to a mop and a bucket of dirty water. It also struck us as odd that they allowed a dog to be literally seated in the booth next to us; he was relatively well behaved but did yelp a few times and flopped out of the booth and onto the floor twice.
Anyway… our overall experience was good but not great, and I’d be willing to try Lamezze again although I’m in no rush to do so. Wishing this business good...
Read moreLamezze is easily one of the best local spots in El Paso. It’s a true gem that more people in the community should know about and support. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a beautiful space with stylish Art Deco decor that feels both fresh and cozy.
The food is fantastic. The lamb burger is one of the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and full of rich flavor. The bacon-wrapped dates are incredible, the kind of appetizer you’ll want to order every time. Their breakfast menu is just as impressive, with dishes that are creative, satisfying, and made with care.
What makes Lamezze really special is how they mix Greek and Mexican ingredients in such a natural and flavorful way. Every dish feels familiar and exciting at the same time.
If I had to point out one downside, it would be the parking. It’s not the easiest, and most times you do have to pay. But that’s a small tradeoff for the kind of experience and quality this place offers.
Lamezze is a great example of why supporting local matters. They’re doing something unique in El Paso, and it’s absolutely...
