Mariscos Estilo Nayarit Fiesta Mexicana — Restaurant in Elgin

Very bad experience, will never come back to this place. I’ll not recommend going there. We arrived at 8:00pm the employee a young girl, the waitress, said we did not need to pay the entrance, only if we arrive after 9:00pm; we ordered food, then the woman who was in charge to promote the musical bands, came to us asking to pay the entrance, $20.00 each. We explained we didn't pay because we were told not to pay. She said then pay your food and go. She literally kicked us out. We left. At the front door was this woman again looking to us.Then we had a conversation with her. She was very rude, she didn't have no idea how to take care of customers. We told her she was rude, then she apologized saying she was having personal problems…she said you can go in if you want…mmm. We didn't accept this excuse, so we left. Never go to this place again! Hope the owner sees...

Trash place. Was told there was no entrance fee, so we went in to eat and have drinks. Later the waitress came up charging a fee? When we voiced our concerns about being told that there was no fee, a different waitress came to the table and said we needed to finish our drinks/food and leave. I’m not even upset about the fee. I understand that things get busy by a certain time and the musicians need to get paid. What upsets me is the rude waitress telling us to finish our drinks and leave. The rudeness and attitude was not necessary. The food was good, but the place also gave bad vibes from the start. We should have known to leave before...

Horrible, if I could give 0 star I would. The music is way too loud so the waitress misheard all of our orders. We bought drinks at the bar while waiting for our food big mistake they added the already purchased drinks to our meal bill then lady apologize after we refused to pay. They kept saying our server was new but something still seemed off , as if they depend on you getting drunk enough to not notice overcharges. Definitely...
