Went recently to a full seated restaurant. Not a problem, we simply told the front desk employee we would like to be notified when a table was available, and we gave them a name and a number to call when ready. About 45mins to an hour passes by and we call the place only to find out that our table has been ready for about 20 mins or so. When we enter, we notice a family that was seated when we entered the first time was just now receiving their order, so already not a good sign.
We had to seat ourselves and later we were given menus. I notice that there’s only two waiters at the very moment, since they were running back and forth to get orders in, which is to be expected. We waited 20 minutes for a server to stop by and get our drinks and food ready.
Now for the fun part. We waited around an 30 minutes to get our drinks. About 40 minutes from then, we get our first dish: Ceviche. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to take a picture but it was very disappointing to look at. All the shrimp and any accompanying foods on it looked sad and lacked of color. It looks too watery, almost like they had to go to the nearest pier to fish the damn thing. Horrible to look at, didn’t finish 1/5
About the same time, we get our appetizer: Salchipapas. It’s simply french fries and hotdogs, impossible to mess up. To be completely honest, this is better than the actual main dish itself. 2/5
About 20 mins after that, we get our entrees including the Aeropuerto Especial. It contains Peruvian Fried Rice with Shrimp, Beef and Chicken with Chinese noodles mixed in. It was the most sad things I’ve tasted, and this is supposed to be authentic Peruvian cuisine. I’ve had actual Peruvian food and it is miles better than what was offered here. The rice had no flavor, it was all bland, the shrimp, beef, chicken, everything just tasted like nothing. It’s a generous portion such as you can eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner, but for $25+. You can get better fried rice with overall better taste, appearance and quality at your nearest Chinese spot around the corner for 1/4th of the price, which is a crazy statement.
To top it all off, every order already includes the tip. As someone has already said, it’s an early sign of the awful service offered at this establishment. 0/5 Would never recommend to go again. A disgrace to authentic...
Read moreif i could give zero stars i would . i went in with my father to congratulate him on getting his CDL license for the previous years. My dad has been very sick in an out the hospital with a condition that is unknown , he passes out when eating certain foods drinks etc he ordered a lomo saltado We specifically told the waiter to not put vinegar in it because it does him a lot of damage. Everything was fine he was eating then he gets hot flashes and runs to the bathroom throws up. when he come back he’s hot and sweating and his eyes are so red. There was vinegar in the food and he was super sick. He could no longer eat his food. We then told the waiter. What had happened all she said was she told them not to put vinegar and they said they didn’t put vinegar in the food, she’s continuously trying to make excuses saying it’s not her fault and that we have to pay her the full amount she was saying that we came to get a discount or something a grown man doesn’t fake something just to get a discount out of the restaurant we always go to We ended up paying, but this is very unfair because you put my father in such a bad position where he could’ve been very sick he could’ve passed out when he left the business and she tries to rub in our face that we just want to discount, I will definitely not be coming back and telling everyone else not to come...
Read moreI’ve visited this restaurant several times before, but unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing and has led me to decide not to return.
First of all, the restaurant does not have a baby changing station, which makes it extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable for families with infants. This lack of consideration is a major drawback.
In addition, the service was far from satisfactory. The server who assisted us did not clearly explain the menu options, and added extra charges to the dish without informing us beforehand. When we addressed the issue and expressed that the additions had not been communicated clearly, the server refused to acknowledge the mistake and became visibly uncomfortable and dismissive.
We then requested to adjust the gratuity, as we felt the service did not meet reasonable expectations in terms of clarity, attentiveness, or professionalism. Again, the response was negative and lacked any willingness to resolve the situation.
The food itself is good, as it has been in the past, but if the service continues at this level, it will seriously affect the restaurant’s reputation and success. Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant experience and we will not be...
