Jade Garden restaurant — Restaurant in Elizabeth

If I was able to give this “restaurant” no stars- I would. This was the absolute worst service and food I’ve had in my entire life. When I initially placed my order I was told it would arrive in 45 minutes. I wasn’t too happy to hear this considering I was staying 1.8 miles away from the restaurant. My order consisted of: one small chicken lo mein; one small shrimp lo mein; one order of crab rangoons. After 45 minutes had passed I was beginning to get angry. So I waited an hour and my food had not arrived. I contacted the “restaurant” and told them that an hour had passed and I hadn’t received my order. They assured me it would be to me in 8 minutes. So again I waited. But not 8 minutes. Another 45 minutes. I contacted them AGAIN and they said the driver would arrive in 3 minutes. So I waited....AGAIN. 10 minutes later he called me and asked me to come meet him at the lobby. Which was rather confusing considering they asked what room I was staying in. So I assumed they would deliver it to my room. I was HOPING the food would be great and I would get over the terrible service. My friend and I sat down to eat our meal.

1. the crab rangoons are the size of a fortune cookie.
2. the filling in the crab rangoons was no more than the size of a nickel.
3. the lo mein noodles had ZERO flavor and extremely mushy and over cooked.
4. the shrimp lo mein did not have the shrimp mixed in. The dumped the noodles in and filled the container half way up, put a layer of a few shrimp, and they stacked more noodles on top.
5. the shrimp was flavorless. ZERO FLAVOR.
6. the chicken in the lo mein was flavorless and there was MAYBE 6 pieces of chicken the size of half of a q-tip.
7. the soy sauce does not taste like any other soy sauce you would receive at a Chinese restaurant. It tastes like water...so dumping it on my lo mein still didn’t add flavor.
8. they don’t include fortune cookies. If you want them- you have to pay extra.

I do not advise anyone to consume food from this “restaurant”.

One more thing, if you choose to order delivery, make sure you aren’t standing outside when the delivery man arrives. You may get hit by his car. His driving was absolutely reckless.

And if you want to talk to the manager, he isn’t in until 11pm. Which is crazy considering they close at 11. Thanks for your great service...

The menu provided is evidently old. This is what i was told when i asked why my order was 24.00 for 3 items!! i was charged 5$ more for one entree, 3$ more for my appetizer. The food was mediocre at best... The wontons which i paid 5.50 for had literally a half teaspoon of filling in them. I ordered the dragon& phoenix The entree had four pieces of what they called jumbo!? Shrimp. They included cabbage and two slices of carrot, As the vegetable in this general taos chicken combo. The meal is made with broccoli?? Sometimes carrot is added. The white rice looks to be days old. I will never order from them again. As a bonus to all this wonderful stuff i woke in the middle of the night with severe indigestion!! Which is rare for me. I usually can eat anything!!

Oh the delivery guy was very friendly professional and accommodating. He is the only reason they got...

i was at Ramada hotel in airport, got a flyer, placed an order over the phone, lady told me they are busy should take 45 minutes tonight, okay no problem, i call back 45 minutes later to check the status, she told me he should be there 5 minutes, told me wait in the lobby for him, okay no problem. i go down to the lobby waiting, 15 minutes passed by, no one, i call again, she told me he went to the wrong hotel, should be there 10 mintues more, okay its understable, mistakens happened, waited another 15mintues, call again, same excuse, 5 more minutes, by this time i had it, i don't mind waiting, i just don't like been lied to like a buffoon, sorry but you can keep your food, i'll just head to the restaurant in the lobby get some steak and mash potato instead. you can just keep your order, i am starving, dont have time to play these...
