Family and I had a great time but I wouldn't contribute it entirely to O'Charleys. Our last visit to this location was about 4 years ago when we had several family members join us (10 of us, including kids). Our experience then wasn't the best, as we had to get the manager to help our waiter (whom we felt was thrown under the bus and left alone to handle more than any server should). Our waiter was awesome but the food we ordered was incorrect and came out "warm", amongst other things.
This time, we had a waiter who was incompetent, we had to constantly remind her that we needed utensils, we needed drinks, straws... Just the entire meal it was uncomfortable. Food wasn't cooked to order (two of us had steaks). Our young daughters food was brought out on a scolding hot plate and the waitress tried handing it to her directly for her.
The other thing that was bothersome is that two other families, similar in size to our 5 people, came in 20 minutes after us. Ordered their food, ate it, got dessert, paid and left before our food ever came out. In total we spent an hour and a half and most of that time was spent waiting. 3 kid meals doesn't take long and neither should two steak meals ordered to be medium. That's a 3 minute sear on each side. The other tables were all adults.
Generally, I would call O'Charleys amazing, incredible, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. Go to the Louisville locations first before you try this one. I can't even say this place is hit and miss. I do recommend the Olive Garden up the street and ask for the waitress from Louisiana. I'm sorry I can't remember her name off the top of my head. But if you look for my review for Olive Garden, you'll see her name on there. She's the kind of person you'd always want serving you, plus the food...
Read moreI will never gp back to this restaurant again. None of the employees smiled once you got past the hostess laughing with her co-worker. Once seated our waitress walks up and never introduces herself. Just asks for our drink order and walks away, never smiling or anything. She comes back with the drinks after spilling one of them. She then asked if we wanted an appetizer. We order that and she walks away. We watched another server give silverware to the other side half of the room but we still had none. Finally our server comes back and takes our food order and when she was asked about the bread that their club bc sandwich came on, she replied just regular white or wheat toast. We ordered and she walks away agaim. She comes back with the appetizer and slams the silverware down on the table while never smiling. Once again she walks away. She comes back out and as she walks past our table we try to stop her to let her know that the appetizer was not done but she kept on walking. She came back past the table and this time we had to raise our voices to get her attention. When we told her that the appetizer was noy dobe, she just said "Do you want something else?". While I know she wasn't responsible for cooking the appetizer, she offered no apology. We ordered a different appetizer, which was not done either. Our entrees made it to the table before tge new appetizer butvwe expected that. When we looked at the club sandwich, we noticed it was not on regular white or wheat toast but more like a untoasted hoagie bun. Ok still no big deal. She never onced come back to check and make sure everything was ok or fill drinks. We asked for to go boxes and had to wait 20 minutes to get them. I have been to several O'Charley's before and have never had this type...
Read moreVisit on 12-22-2024. Not busy at all in the restaurant. Server acted like we were bothering her day. It was my birthday dinner from my 3 sons and one of my sons had not arrived so we got our drinks and ordered appetizers.( we told her another person was coming) Once he arrived, she brought a refill for my son next to him, reached over him to place and ignored him. I had to get her attention to get him a drink. We ordered and she refilled everyone’s drink but mine and when she brought out a tea I expected it to be mine so I said thank you and she said it is sweet tea and left it. My son and I both ordered unsweet tea. I asked him was his last refill sweet and he said yes. I went over and told her that we were both diabetic and she gave us sweet tea could we have unsweet and she said I told you it was sweet tea. I said I know, we both had unsweet tea could we have unsweet please. She was annoyed and didn’t hide it. Every time she left our table she went to bar area and got on her phone. Food….fried pickles cold, orders mixed up, I ordered no onion…had onion.fries limp and cold. My son’s Louisiana steak, half of it looked smooth like bioengineered food. It had a weird texture and taste, chicken strips very thin and mostly crust. My sons asked me not to say anything so I didn’t and that was hard to do. Before I left I used the restroom, it looked as if It had not been cleaned all day and no paper towels. Not a good experience at all and certainly not worth the $120 spent. Gave this a 3 on food being generous for some good points. Fresh hot rolls, burgers and salmon good as well as fried okra. I will not visit again. I don’t want free food, I would like to see this addressed. Didn’t catch servers name, but she was wearing a fireball...
