This place is a gem! Tucked away in a strip mall near downtown and the river is this treat. It is a family-run bakery/coffee shop that serves excellent food. I've had 2 breakfasts here, and both have been very good. The coffee is top-notch! The food is real, homemade and tasty! They have tons of fresh baked goods, plus stuff to take and bake. Atmosphere is very Elkhart county, with a bit of Amish/Mennonite decor. This is very popular with the white- and grey-hair crowd. (I'm part of the grey crowd) Good place to have a cup of coffee with friends or your family. I forgot to mention how amazing the price/value is. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. It is becoming one of my favorites for brunch. I need to try their lunches, but I know that it will be tasty.

Very welcoming place. The ladies that were working were very kind and friendly. After we had placed our order at the counter and picked our table there was just enough time before the food came out to peek over at all the premade meals and treats to go that they had to offer. The biscuits and gravy I ordered hit the spot with the gravy smothering both the biscuit as well as the hash browns that come with it. My partner enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Were curious to come back to try out the pulled pork and to grab one of the frozen pot pies to go!

This was my first time visiting Bakers Nook Café. They were very friendly and welcomed us as we walked in the door. The dishes we ordered were the Florentine omelette and toasted meatloaf & cheese. The bacon in the Florentine omelette was done perfectly, crispy but not hard. The meatloaf in the toasted meatloaf and cheese sandwich was delicious. They also have a freezer section with freezer meals to bake at home. We got the chicken pot pie to bake at home. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

This is the BEST place to meet a friend for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee! The food is made with great care and delicious attention to detail, the coffee is rich and exquisite, the bakery case is always brimming with beautiful offerings, the pie cooler displays an abundance of sweet temptations, the decor is sweet and inviting, and the service is personable and kind! I am always looking for a reason to make this Nook my destination!

We were just traveling through and found this little place for a late lunch. WOW!!! I had the meatloaf sandwich (highly recommend) and a grilled cheese (2 different cheeses and made very well). Wife had a turkey bacon wrap and it too was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very happy with our lunch choice. I grabbed a package of Whoopie pies for the road as well.
