Well let just say they have a lot to learn about customer service and communication between staff.
Order a To Go order....30 min later the cook ...notices us waiting patiently...and explains that our order has been done for quite some time. No staff communication ?
The cook offered to remake or give us a gift card. I think for me having them telling me that with a really big smile on their face just made everything kind of off putting.
I denied all of the above. Waiting with three hungry kids it is not always the best choice to wait another ten ...fifteen minutes.
Arrived home ready to dig in.
Noticed it was still ok. So that's good. Then noticed one ordered item is missing and no condiments anywhere to be found.
With that out of the way let's just say disappointment is an understatement especially when you have a hungry kid looking at you and expecting their food.....but it is not there.
Managed to make everyone happy by sharing everything.
Called the establishment and explained one order was missing. They will refund the order that was missing.
As far as food goes the chicken was crispy and flavorfull. I am noticing a hint of fish from the oil that it was cooked in.
I did not notice fish in the menu but yet maybe that's just me. Oil needs to be changed ? Salad was fine. No dressing. Fried pickles way overcooked.
That's just my experience and only the first time as a customer.
Definitely had higher expectations but unfortunately I am getting used to not receiving what was expected and compensated.
I am the kind of person that only gives you one chance ....well I am not saying I will not go back ....I am saying i will probably drive by and not even notice the place is there because of not so...

Read moreI really wanted to like this place. It's new and locally owned. We love supporting small businesses, especially restaurants.
This place was disappointing for a few reasons. First was the price. $18.99 for one order of tenders, fries and a small side of cole slaw is a bit high. I didn't even get a drink. The cashier actually sighed outloud when I didn't put a tip in their jar on the counter when I ordered my food. I guess she didn't see that I added it to my bill when I paid with my card.
The 2nd disappointment was how long it took to get people's orders out to them. There wasn't a big rush or anything or a long line of people, but it took at least 20 minutes for me to get my single order and I saw others getting impatient as well.
My food was good and cooked right. The "hot honey" sauce was runny and messy, but had a decent flavor and heat level.
This place was clean and overall the staff was friendly, but the owners may have missed doing some research on the demographic of the customers in this area. The food was good, but really overpriced for simple chicken tenders and sandwiches.
I wish them the best of luck. I probably won't be back...
