So good! Traveling through and took a chance. Paid off! Ordered MI CHA (Phnom Pehn Style) with chicken. Hubby ordered Mango Chicken with Khmer Chili Sauce. Both were delicious. Hot and fresh. Taro egg rolls also so good. Our son lived in Cambodia for a year and a half and I sent him a picture of our meals. He said it looked just like it did over there. He was jealous. 🥹 Would recommend. Would love to go there again next time we come through to try more dishes. Oh and the large size on the entrees were very generous portions. Happy we stopped. P.S. there was no public restroom there which was disappointing. We had to go drive around to fine one elsewhere in town. Almost didn’t come back but wanted to try. Glad we did.

I usually go to Kaos atleast 2 times a week during my lunch break. I usually don’t have a problem. However, ever since they have gotten new employees, I’ve had nothing but issues. I went in there for lunch today and ordered my usual. Either I was given the wrong order, or the cashier misheard me, but I received “combo” fried rice and it has pork in it. I do not eat pork. I immediately went back into the restaurant and the cashiers acted like they did not care. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but it’s another to just not care to make it right. I did receive a refund but overall I’m just disappointed. This used to be my lunch spot. I’m not sure that I’ll return here.

We decided to try this place on the recommendation of a friend, and boy are we glad we did. Kao's might be the best little hidden gem in Elkhart. I happen to be super taste sensitive to cilantro, so I was naturally terrified to see a large portion of their menu is cilantro heavy. Fortunately I can say I ordered two dishes with no cilantro and there was zero cilantro in either. My daughter's favorite part was for sure the Boba. Many delicious options to make your own customized drink. The whole family looks forward to our next visit!

a lot comes down to your personal taste and overall this didn't excite us. the spring rolls were excellent. the pate sandwich is mostly daikon which was pretty bland. don't think of it as a Vietnamese banh mi. the mi cha is interesting but also kind of bland. I think that is probably one of the most Cambodian dishes on the menu. we're glad we tried it. on the downside they're using styrofoam for some of their dishes. they have a recycle bin but it was full of Styrofoam so we just took our stuff home to recycle their.

Beef Pate Sandwich - one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life! Also, the portion size was so generous. They cut it in half for you and each half would be enough for a light lunch (speaking as a 5'3" lady). I had my boyfriend try it as well, and he loved it too! Wonton Soup - I was confused at first because there are dumplings and not wontons in the soup. But it was tasty and the broth was excellent (best guess: chicken stock, cilantro and green onion). Service was decently fast, and they keep their restroom tidy.

Came here with my fiancé and soon to be sister in law on Saturday. I was excited because my fiancé had just told me about it so I was happy to go with her so quickly 👍🏻😊 The interior is cool, I like the slightly industrial look with the Cambodian theme. The amount of boba toppings you can get is incredible! I got the mango boba and it was delicious, and the texture of the boba was great! My entree was the Mi Cha with steak. That was very good, and holy cow is the large portion huge! I would definitely return 😊
