I used to work at this McDonald's. For every review we received online where our names were mentioned personally there was a generous incentive promotion going on that the company would give that employee a bonus of 10.00. On several occasions I worked my butt off receive reviews and knew my name had been mentioned and I never received the 10.00 as promised even when I took it up with my general manager. I'd get the go around. I was also experiencing work environment bullying of specific managers who were targeting making the workplace miserable for fellow employees ... Myself included. When I brought this up to my general manager they essentially told me they were aware that the managers behaved this way but at least they were better than the year before.... It blew my mind that the hardest workers got the least recognition and the sheep mentality and poorest performers received managerial positions. I felt and still feel that a few tweaks in the upper hand staff would increase this location tenfold. It's hard to smile and pretend to be happy when you're being told constantly you are not good enough and negative encouragement such as job threats are encouraged. What makes me sad is that the owners are probably not even aware this occurs and it's a shame as they seem like they would be reasonable people. What brought this all up again?.... I went through the drive thru tonight and I ordered an artisan chicken sandwich. It was so dry I could hardly swallow it and it seems everytime I go there lately there is something up with the food. I seriously think the store could use a break to retrain all staff and get back on its feet again. But who am I to say? I'm just an ex-employee who was promised a management position I never...
Read moreMy review is solely based on the McDonald's in Tacoma Wa. However McDonald's still uses fillers in their meat products this is a known fact. I still don't understand why us American citizens haven't bought a class action lawsuit against this corporation for selling products with red slime and plastic fillers while making billions of dollars off citizens around the world! Anyways back to my point. The McDonald's store in Tacoma Wa sold a big Mac with fly larva in the meat of the big Mac sandwich! The customer brought it the attention of the management on duty and he offered to replace the sandwich with another one of the same product! This is company policy as is a refund! However he did not address the problem but only to ask the customer to leave the store because the customer started to raise her voice over the matter! The quality control of this great corporate company is now feeding the American citizens and citizens of the world flies in their products! Do you still want to eat their lunch menu? Don't get me wrong the breakfast menu is not to bad occasionally! But us this what we want our children to be eating? This Review has nothing to do with the McDonald's @ 1304 Canyon Road however they all get same products from the same place think about it! If you don't believe in what I'm saying just jump on Facebook and type in fly larva and see for yourself! God bless you and our...
Read moreI went through McDonalds tonight and ordered a McRib with extra sauce. Justin taking my order mistakenly thought I said no sauce and I did not see it on the screen, it is a common mistake and I don't really mind, I understand how hard it is to hear sometimes. The issue came when I got to the window and they told me it was a McRib with no sauce, I corrected them and they took it back to add extra sauce. When I received the bag with my food it was covered in barbeque sauce but I did not expect any wrongdoing. I got home and opened it up to find that the McRib was almost completely submerged in barbeque sauce and it had spilled over everything in our bag. The extent to which there was so much extra sauce indicated that this was intentional and I honestly have no idea how this could get past Camille, the working manager at the time, or any of the staff that handled the food or the bag at any point after I politely asked Cheyenne to correct my order and apologized for not catching the mistake. Attached is a picture of the McRib. I will not be eating at this McDonalds ever again and I will tell my friends and family to go somewhere else when they...
