WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN !! FIRST AND LAST TIME !!!

I had an extremely DISGUSTING experience at the Country Café.

From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly unwelcome and felt as if they wanted to do everything in their power to keep us from sitting down

We were told we had to wait 20 minutes just to be seated which was ok however the restaurant had ample open seating

When we were finally shown to our table, the host came over and SLAMMED the silverware and menus down on the table and walked by our party without saying a word !!

The customer service was HORRIFIC .Sadly , the two Hispanic women behind the counter treated us so poorly, which was extremely disheartening as we are Hispanic ourselves.

Their behavior made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable

If you value great customer service, avoid the Country Café. We will...

This is a hidden gem. I'll get the negatives out of the way. The music was very loud. If your looking for lunch and happen to be vegetarian I only found a Caesar Salad minus the chicken as options. But everything else went uphill from there. The beautiful building still maintains it's character from decades before. The booths, eating counter and floors have a long history in this builimg. They even have the sign up for the much beloved Valley Cafe that was here before. The menu is a decent size with many breakfast options for anyone. The pancakes are gigantic and delicious. The large portions are echoed through the other items we ordered too. You won't leave hungry. If you order a side of tater tots for your sandwich you'll be taking some home. They are delicious and plenty. This is a great stop for breakfast if you find yourself downtown...

2023.12.17 Made it just in time before closing on my drive home from Seatac to Spokane! Husband doesn't get to join me this time around as he's on a plane home to visit his parents. So. I treated myself to 2nd breakfast. Got the veggie omelette as a scramble with french toast. Delic!

They have so many wonderful sides to pick from to go along with the breakfast omelettes. Pancakes or waffle or French toast or potatoes + toast or hash browns + toast. On my drive here I changed my mind three times over then ordered the first thing that came to mind when they took my order. The French Toast side is a meal in and of itself.

2023.12.11 Our second visit in many-many years. Food was as good as we remembered.

A good go-to lunch spot for us when traveling Spokane to...

Still Good food and great service from when they were Wild Huckleberry. My picky toddler loves the kids cheeseburger and fries. We already started eating before i took pictures. The boyfriend had the Turkey Club, always good. I always liked their Biscuits and gravy but the Biscuits are better now since they become County Cafe, at least in my opinion. My over easy eggs were little over done but not a big deal to me especially when they are busy, like they almost always are because that's how good the food and service is. Totally worth the wait if you have to wait. Today was only a 10-15min wait. If expected wait time is longer you can take a nice walk in the downtown area.
