The food here overall is great ✨. They put way too much salt on their sandwiches for me, to the point it's really gritty on my lips and there's definitely not enough sauce. I like wet, saucy-saucy sandwiches, like Hot Chicken Kitchen (located in Woodbridge, VA and they are the BEST 👌) and Hangry Joe's simply isn't that. Their sauce is good, the chicken is delicious and tender— but the salt!! Waayyy too much, I always ask them to not add any to my sandwich and they don't (this option sadly isn't available for Online Orders). But when I ask if they can toss my chicken in extra sauce to actually cover it and smother it in sauce, they simply give me more thick special sauce on the side 🙄. Not the same thing lol. The fries are really good, and so are the milk teas! The milk teas are so creamy and flavorful— Brown Sugar is my favorite, Honey Dew is great too ✌️✨. I don't like Boba, and again— unfortunately for Online Orders, asking for No Boba is unavailable 🙄. Also, not sure how it's legal or fair, but prices for online ordering are criminal. Either call, or go in person and enjoy. Hot Chicken Kitchen is still my #1 place, but Joe's is good for the area and a place...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I found Hangry Joe's when we were near Annapolis last year. It didn't look like much from the outside but omg their food is amazing. Unfortunately, there's none in our area so we hadn't been back. But, we went to a meeting in Columbia tonight and I saw that there was a Hangry Joe's 10 minutes away. I was so excited. It was even better than I remembered (and I remembered it being amazing lol). This place might just be my favorite chicken sammie spot (and I specifically look for chicken sammie spots because its my favorite meal when I want to indulge and forget calories exist) so I've had quite a few chicken sammies from quite a few places, small places as well as bigger named franchises. We both got the sando Jr i believe its called? The one that has the 2 pieces of chicken on it. I got mine mild and my boyfriend got his medium along with waffle fries. It was 10/10 delicious. They're opening a location in my area soon and I absolutely...
Read moreI ate the majority of the fries before I took a picture I've been wanting to try out Hangry Joes for a while now and tonight I finally got the chance. I decided to go with the mild chicken wrap combo. I ordered online through their preferred website. When I got home I quickly realized that there were pickles on the wrap (which I HATE) and that was not listed in the description on their website. I think accuracy is important, esp when it comes to food. I was able to pull them off and was still surprised how tasty the wrap was. I actually really liked the cider slaw and think it compliments it very well. The fries were delicious as well and seasoned great. I love their sauce too. When I was double checking the description on the website I noticed the prices are way more expensive when ordering online. Next time I'll call my order in but I definitely look forward to trying their...
