Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Ellsworth

My husband and I decided to swing by Taco Bell for my birthday because we knew that with our order we could get two World Series loco tacos as an extra treat. We ordered 3 taco surpremes , a drink, and a burrito supreme to go with the two complementary "stolen base" Ozzie Albies tacos. When we entered the restaurant we were told that the front room closed at 7pm. We would have to go through drive thru. We placed our order and had to wait a very long time because the car in front of us had to have an addition order that was not filled. When we came to the window there was a large Jamaican man just staring at the monitor ignoring us. Troy, the manager came to the window and asked if we ordered a spicy chicken sandwhich. When we told him what we ordered, he said that our order was given away to the car in front of us. He did not apologize or offer to make good on any way. He just said that he would fill the order. When he gave our order to the window clerk we asked to speak to him. We were not given napkins or asked if we wanted sauce. We asked to speak to the manager. When Troy came to the window, he was upset with us! We asked what did he plan on doing to make the situation better. He yelled at us shaking his arms up and down as if we were morons and Yelled at the top of his lungs " IT WAS A MISTAKE!" I asked him again, what do YOU plan on doing to make things better? He yelled again "You want a refund?" Then slammed the window on us. He brought the measly refund with no remorse or sincere apology. When my husband asked for his name he said "Troy, I am the manager, if you dont leave I am calling the police!" The window clerk on 11.04.2021 at 7:43 pm appeared to be dumbfounded, and poorly trained. There is no sense of urgency there. The restaurant floor behind the counter looks filthy. The staff is poorly trained in customer service. He could have apologized and offered a cookie or some kind of sincere gesture. Instead he was confrontational. As if it was our fault that our meal went to someone else. Last summers manager was so much better, and cleaner. When we finally had our meal the beans and tortilla was cold, and the taco shells seemed to be deliberately crushed. This established is not up to the usual KFC /Taco bell standard. There needs to be someone from corporate to oversee the quality control. The last time we came through for cinnamon twists the twist had the flavor of old bitter grease. We had to throw them away. There needs to be better management training, better staff training, and a very clear expectations of how the food is being prepared, and how to treat customers and co workers. This place has really gone down hill. Poor managment, no...

Not sure what happened to this place. Staff is extremely rude. Went through drive thru last week and the lady taking the order was outrageously rude, felt impossible to even place an order. At the end she asked, with a huge attitude, if we wanted to round up. My father, who was placing the order, chuckled and said no; not because we refuse to donate, but because of the outrageous mannerism being displayed throughout the entire order, and especially with the donation question. She responded “you think donating to kids is funny? I’ll make sure (insert name here) hears about this.” I forget the name, maybe Hayden? But what’s the implication there? Basically sounded like she was letting us know that she was going to tell someone to spit in our food (or otherwise tamper with the food.)

Went to drive thru again over the weekend, and a man took our order. He asked us to hold on a second, and my niece, who was driving and is impossibly kind, responded “okay no problem” VERY nicely. She then put her car in park. Guy comes back over intercom and snarls at her “I told you to wait a second!”. He then proceeds to talk over my niece and cut her off as many times as possible. He was extremely rude. I actually confronted him after we completed the order, and he was extremely apologetic and stated someone had “driven off earlier” which is why he had such an attitude. Still not sure why my niece putting her car in park after being told to wait a minute would be a problem, and not sure why it entitled him to be so rude throughout the entire order.

Moreover, he was extremely rude with my very polite niece, and then immediately extremely apologetic with me, someone who is not as kind. Seemed like he could sense that my niece is a very nice person who wasn’t going to give him any push back and decided he would take the opportunity to lash out all of his personal grievances. Then, when confronted, immediately backs down. Hard to respect that.

Very annoyed with the disrespectful behavior displayed by your employees. There was no reason for the extreme rudeness displayed in both examples, we were very nice. I don’t really care if the person was having a bad day because the behavior exceeded anything reasonable. I have bad days too and I’m expected not to lash out at customers.

I WILL ESPECIALLY MAKE SURE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW OF THE EXPERIENCE WHERE YOUR EMPLOYEE ESSENTIALLY THREATENED TO SPIT...

Oh my God, I love Taco Bell, but this was by far the worst experience I've experienced. Me and my friend were driving back to school, and decided to pick up some food. I got about 14 dollars worth of food and my friend got 22 dollars worth of food, and we got like three water bottles. The guy handed us my Mexican pizza and a large bag, I gave it all to my friend, so to be fair, he should've checked to make sure we had everything but there was SO MUCH MISSING. First off my Mexican pizza box was covered in brown, sticky sauce? I had to ask the guy to wipe it off, then when we stopped for gas I opened the bag to grab a water bottle, and we didn't get a single bottle. When we got back to school and began sorting our food my friend didn't receive any of his food!!I told him to call costumer service and get his money back(Cause we live about an hour away), because that was 22 dollars wasted for nothing. I gave him a soft taco, and I ate the other one and it was sweet?? Like they had touched some of their dessert items then began making my taco. The last straw, I just opened my Mexican pizza and there's tomato, I asked for no tomatoes on my combo meal, and yea they took the tomatoes off of my tacos, and on the pizza there's no red sauce, there's tomato. Like Taco Bell corporation, can you please explain this :l

UPDATE: Trying to eat the Mexican Pizza, they didn't cut it and is hard...
