Me and Guillermo were feelin in a pasta kinda mood, but remembered that McDonald's doesn't serve spaghetti anymore, so we thought we'd try out this garden place. We got seated pretty pick, which was surprising because there were probably a hundred people there. I guess Fridays are a big deal or something. Anyways, the first thing I notice is that this place is clearly for alcoholics, as we're sat 5 feet away from a counter covered in wine bottles, and the nice young lady who was having a panic attack immediately offered us a pitcher of sangria. Despite being of Scottish decent I respectfully declined and was given a bowl of soup instead. And so the second thing I notice is that this place has a thing for cheese, as the young lady said "y'all want some cheese?" And I'm rather weak willed so they proceeded to ground up about a quarter pound of cheese into my soup, which worked out well I think. Guillermo doesn't do cheese these days, because of his gall bladder, but he seemed to be having a good time with his bread sticks. So after we order the main course the manager snuck on over and popped up at our table and said "Is everything extra super cool beans for ya?" I say yes. She offered us a bottle of wine, I go through the motions, and then she leans in real close and tells us we're family. It's always real awkward when you run into a relative who you don't recognize but they recognize you, but I smile and try to keep cool until the pastapocalypse starts. And when it does show up I quickly realize I shouldn't have had 6 bowls of soup. Guillermo, with a breadstick still in his mouth asks for boxes before the nice girl can even offer us more cheese or alcohol, good on him because I clearly wasn't going to be getting very far into my dish without some form of divine intervention. Either way, I'm at home and the pasta has lasted me 2 days now. I'll definitely go again but I need to figure out which of my cousins is the manager so I'm a little...
Read moreCame for lunch with my cousin and my daughter. Got crappy service and my daughters food never came out. When i asked for it to be removed from the bill i was told they would remove the food she didnt get but would be charging me for the quarter sized amount of salad that i gave her out of my bowl. Now with that mindset, my cousin and i were paying separately, we should have gotten our own bowls of salad. Which we didnt…and we only got 1 salad, never was refilled. Also, if i wasnt supposed to share with my daughter why did the server bring out 3 salad plates and not tell me i would be charged for salad for her until AFTER i asked for her food to be taken off the bill?! 2 separate bills but we have to eat out of the same bowl? But youll charge me for a whole nother salad bc my daughter, who was starving, wanted something to eat while she waited on her food that NEVER came. Guess she shouldve sat there hungry watching us eat?… I had to find the manager, who i had to explain all of this to quickly bc i was upset and wanted to get the hell out of there and her first reply was ‘ill talk to your server to see what happened with the pizza’ i said ‘nothing happened, we never got it’ and went back to my table where the manager then approached and comped my bill. Left there with my daughter still hungry, my lunch ruined and p/o for wasting my time at this establishment. I also turned this into corporate. The fact that i even had to argue about the quarter sized amount of salad my 3 year old ate bc your kitchen failed to produce her meal is crazy work and i will never come to this business again. People want their hard earned money and time spent at places who value their customers. The fact that my daughter HAD to eat my salad bc YOUR kitchen didnt produce her food should not have warranted you wanting to charge me for feeding my child off my food that i was already paying...
Read moreI was a former employee that was wrongfully terminated. I was a good employee and reliable. I’m also a mother who has to pump periodically to be able to feed my child. Not only was it ALWAYS a hassle when it comes time for me to pump but my personal space was always invaded and numerous employees walked in on me. The managers never really addressed the problem properly or gave me a decent space to pump. In result I try to hold out which in result in my supply dropping significantly. Jamie Coleman one of the managers even told me that I needed to clock out when I pumped which I know my rights and I do not clock out. There was no sensitivity on the subject at all. They never really fix the problem about surprised to see so my supply took a big hit. A warning to all the future employees who are looking to make a career. I do not recommend finding employment at this establishment. There is no real constructive managing and the pay is not fair for all that the workers have to endure we bend over backwards for managers, who don’t appreciate the hard work and effort to be put in to our work on a daily. In the end, I ended up being stabbed in the back by one of the managers name, Lydia Brady, who I thought really understood me as a new mother, who really had it out for me and numerous other Longer there I hope in the future corporate find the root of the problem why this establishment cannot keep employees. This place has by far the highest turnover rate I have ever seen and met. I see why now I’m sorry I wasted my time and working there if I could go back, I would’ve declined the job if I knew what I was really getting into. 10 out of 10 would not recommend find an appointment at this...
