Today was my very first....and very last trip to shop at DFW. The selection of clothes was plentiful and prices are great. But, the customer service is a BIG thumbs down. There were 4 people in line, including myself. The customers ahead of me were greeted cordially and promptly, until it I was next in line. I also work in customer service, so I do understand and appreciate patience on both sides of the counter.however, when I was next in line, the cashier walked away. So, I proceeded to take my things to the counter. The cashier waited approximately 2 minutes before asking her co worker to please ring me our as "it was time for her to leave". The coworker, with an attitude, states, "sure, I have nothing else to do"....COME ON!! I was ready at that point to just leave the merchandise and go somewhere else. I'm not a judgmental person, but since WHEN do you allow females to roll their shirts up under their breasts, so ALL her flesh is hanging out?!? Very unprofessional. Sadly, I will go to Burlington in north Olmsted from now on, where customer service is fast, friendly, and the workers are dressed appropriately. I would like to give a big shout out to Carlos. I observed everything, and his positive attitude and professional mannerisms excelled far and above the females. Thank you Carlos, although you were not my cashier, I watched you and wanted to thank you personally, but didn't want to get more upset than I already was. I hope ya'll heard me as I left, but if not that's the reason for...
Read moreLove this store because I can always find something for someone and not break the bank. You need time and patience to dig through all the racks of clothing. You'll definitely want to try every item on for size prior to purchase as all sales are final, meaning no returns and no exchanges! That's why I couldn't give 5 stars. Ladies, you can literally find complete outfits for $20! I bought several casual dresses for $5 each. I paired one $5 dress with a $2 wrap belt and a pair of trendy sandals for $6. Then I found a gold, layered necklace for $7. Entire outfit was $20! I suggest leaving the kids at home to allow yourself the time to find all that you are looking for and then you'll need to hit the fitting room. Kids get bored quick so you may feel rushed. Also, no shopping carts. They have bags you can fill to carry your items and the very nice employees will let you hang your items near the fitting room so you can continue shopping without the hassle of hauling around your filled bag! I only shopped for women's clothes while I was there but I saw many baby clothes as well as mend clothes. Not sure about bid kids clothes,...
Read moreWent there the first day of no tax day. Insider club coupon says an extra 10% off but doesn't say you have to show the email so I assumed it was a sale. I noticed after I walked out the 10% wasnt taken off. So I went in to speak to the manager she explained that I had to show the email and said that she couldn't do anything about it. As im getting ready to walk out an employee says mame how much was your total i told him thinking nothing of it and he takes out of his wallet the 10% differance. I thanked him for fixing the issue and walked out. I was exhausted after the shopping trip that I did not realize what he had just done. He gave me the difference out of his own pocket not from the store. If he reads this I am so sorry that took from your hard work and your family if I had realized what you had done I would not have taken it. If corporate is reading this give that man a raise and for the manager that let him do that and refused to fix the problem you should be ashamed of yourself. You should be trained to fix issues like that its been done before at your store. I wish got the employees name. ...
