We visit this location quite regularly. I wish that I would have caught her name after all these visits, but there is a sweet blonde gal that works the drive thru window pretty often, who is ALWAYS so kind to us! This morning though, she really went above and beyond and I would love for her wonderful customer service to be recognized!
My son is 5 years old and has Autism. Aside from having several food allergies that make eating difficult; he is a picky eater, struggles with various textures, and like many individuals with AutismâŚ.he struggles to trying new things. A few months ago, he discovered he likes the glazed munchkins (he calls them âsquishy circlesâ đ). It became the best part of his morning, stopping for his squishy circles (and mamaâs much needed coffee!) Until about 2 weeks ago, when we got an order of munchkins that the glaze was still quite freshâŚmaking them sticky. He reached his hand in the bag to grab one and was absolutely horrified by the sticky texture on his hands. Ever since, he cries âno sticky squishesâ đđ
So this morning, I tried ordering him an âold fashionedâ donut on the appâŚ.hoping that the plainness of the donut would cure his fear of the stickies. When we got to the window, the sweet blonde gal told us they didnât have old fashioned and offered us glazed instead. So I awkwardly explained our dilemmaâŚ.which she kindly and patiently listened to without any judgement. I embarrassingly asked if there was any way she could pickâŚ.the least stickyâŚ.of the glazed munchkins for himâŚ.to which she said no problem!
The pure shockâŚ.followed by absolute JOY on my sonâs face when he looked into the bag and saw the original âsquishy circlesâ that he fell in love withâŚtruly made my morning. To her, it seemed like no big deal. She provided us quick and kind customer service and probably went about her morning thinking nothing of it. But for us (special needs families)âŚthese small moments of kindness are BIG.
So if anyone sees this and knows that sweet blonde gals name, please extend my heartfelt thank you to her for making my sonâs day! đ

   Read moreI want to start by saying that I really love DunkinâI go at least twice a week, often to different locations depending on where I am. Today, around noon, my significant other and I stopped at this location. We ordered a refresher, a bagel with cream cheese, a bacon egg & cheese croissant, and a ham & cheese croissant stuffer. Before placing the order, I specifically asked if the stuffer was available and was told yes, so I proceeded and paid. While waiting, I noticed that the employee who took our order was frequently touching his hair and face and seemed more focused on chatting with coworkers than helping customers. After waiting 15 minutes, we were told the stuffer was actually sold out. On top of that, our entire order had been removed from the board, so we had to wait another 5 minutes just to get the rest of our items. The replacement I received did not taste good, which was disappointing after the long wait. As someone who has worked in fast food, I was trained to always wear gloves and a hair net, and to change gloves immediately if they touched anything unsanitary. To see no gloves or hair nets being worn at all was very concerning. Overall, I left feeling completely unsatisfied...
