C CASA Emeryville — Restaurant in Emeryville

I gave this place a great review in the past but my experience today was terrible. My order was missing a brownie, two salsas, and an extra order of tortillas that I paid for. When my brother in law went to pick up the order, the employees almost didnt give him the mexican cokes that we ordered. He had to remind the employees. After we got back to the hotel, I checked my order and noticed the missing items. The man I spoke to on the phone (Juan) basically was arguing with me and insisting that he put the items in the bag and refused to give me a partial refund but that I can drive all the way back down there(30 minutes away) to pick up the items that they didnt include. Why would I waste my time calling or bother scamming someone out of 8 dollars worth of food? I just want what I paid for. I WAS a repeat customer and now I am never...

This place is ideal if you have someone with a gluten issue. The food is fresh and delicious. The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was that this, my third time getting food from there, was the third time in a row they had a missing item with my order. Ordered everything through DoorDash, but always had something missing, even when we did a pick-up vs delivery order. 1st time - Ordered a side of chips/salsa - they gave us chips, no salsa. 2nd time (picked up)- Ordered a side of chips/salsa - they didn't give us chips or salsa. Didn't realize it until we were on our way home that those items were missing. Then today, the 3rd time, we got the salsa and no chips. It's actually really funny. With this pattern, I suppose the 4th time they'll provide us the whole order. The food we do get is worth going back...

Was out shopping in Berkeley and while passing thru Emeryville decided to stop for lunch at the Public Market. I heard about C Casa and decided to eat there. I ordered the sweet potato black bean taco. It was amazing. Very filling.The food was just a tad high, UNTIL I learned that all their food is no -gmo, gluten free, organic, and hormone free meats. So, needless to say, thats well worth it in my book. I also heard that C Cssa is coming to my town in San Ramon, at our new City Center sometime later this year. I'm definitely looking forward to their arrival. I'm spreading...
