DONT ORDER ONLINE AND EXPECT YOUR FOOD TO BE READY WHEN THEY TELL YOU IT WILL BE. We ordered food online and it said it would be ready at 931 pm so we got there about 929 pm. They were busy! We went to the line and this girl was clueless, about life I think, and definitely about a togo order. She then went and checked for our order and told us it would be next. Well that's where everything goes a bit crazy. First off PENN STATION, YOU CANT HAVE A RESTAURANT RAN BY ENTIRELY TEENAGERS. IVE DONE IT AND TRUST ME ITS A BAD IDEA. So all this orders keep getting filled ahead of ours, so we said something and they said we are making right now. Then they hand us a bag with 3 subs, we ordered 5 subs and 3 fries!!!! So my girlfriend at this point is umm..... Ready to rip the hair out of the clueless girls head. She keeps her cool and then shows them the receipt, that they gave us. Is everyone laughing now? Cause I sure as hell was. So they get the other subs but now we have to wait on the fries. The 3 people that placed their order and received their order with in the previous 5 minutes got our fries I guess! My girlfriend says something to the manager, who by the way, was 5 feet away the entire time and did nothing. So she says " would you like a free drink"!! Yeah that's what I want, it's now 1032pm and do you remember what time the website said it would be ready? Yep 931 pm. It was ordered at 914pm. So 1 hour and 14 minutes later we got 3 subs that are 30 minutes colder and a free paper cup!! PENN STATION YOU ARE LUCKY YOUR FOOD IS GOOD PRICED REASONABLY CAUSE YOUR CUSTOMER...
Read moreNikki the young lady taking orders on my visit Tuesday January 5, was extremely rude. I called and she placed me on hold, which not a big deal, besides the fact that she asks can you hold and did not even wait for my answer before clicking over. I wait...with the hold music, 5 minutes goes past, 10 minutes goes past. I called as I was getting in my car to head to the restaurant from my home. I got all the way to Penn Stations parking lot still on hold 14 minutes later. I hung up and called back. The same young lady answers again, and I again ask to place an order. She responds with we are about to close will you get here in time? I say yes, you had me on hold for almost 15 minutes so I am outside now. She responds with well we have been busy....keep in mind I am looking at the whole restaurant through the window where there is not 1 customer. The 3 employees were cleaning in preparation for close which is fine, but if you are open that cleaning does not take priority over your customers and filling their order. I wait the 10 minutes she told me, and came inside...No hello, no can o have the name on the order please. She took her time finishing cleaning the fry station before even addressing me. Another employee had to say hey your order is here... to direct her. I say all this to say...we are in a time in the world that someone would love to have Nikki's job. And they would do it happily and correctly. Ms. Nikki, if you do not want a job, dont have one. Read morecalled ahead for order, added to it when arrived at store, sat to wait, watched the manager and staff talk to each other like they were on a break. when my order was done, one worker proceeded to open up the salad dressing and put it on my salad. When I saw what she was doing I stood up and told her please don't do that. The manager also corrected the worker and told her they don't do that. They offered to make me a new salad and that it would take 10 minutes (I had already waited 10 minutes for the first salad) and I told them that's fine but that I also want the salad that the mistake was made on. That was abruptly and rudely shut down, along with all the reasons they couldn't do that. Good customer service and common courtesy would have just given me the salad as well as the corrected salad (which I already paid for). I got louder and louder and insisted that the right thing to do would be to give me the mistake salad for free while I wait on the new order. But the manager was not willing to do that and was very rude about it as well. It is human to make mistakes, but when mistakes are made because you are talking and chatting instead of focusing on what you're doing, that is not ok, and for my inconvenience, they should have given me the mistake...
