Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a great spot if you’re in the mood for a classic, all-American burger and fries. Their steakburgers are known for being juicy and full of flavor, with a thin and crispy edge that gives them a unique texture. You can customize your burger to your liking, but the Freddy’s Original Double is a standout, with two patties, cheese, mustard, onions, and pickles. It’s simple, but that’s part of its charm—each bite takes you back to a classic diner experience.
Their fries are another highlight. They’re shoestring style, perfectly crispy, and come with their famous Freddy’s fry sauce—a tangy, slightly sweet sauce that complements the fries perfectly. It’s the kind of thing you’ll want to dip everything in. If you’re feeling adventurous, the chili cheese fries are also a must-try.
But it’s not just about the food. Freddy’s has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, and their bingo nights are a blast with great employees. Reka, the manager was a standout. There’s something about enjoying a casual meal while playing bingo that makes for a memorable evening. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy some low-key entertainment with friends or family. The bingo nights add a layer of community and fun, making Freddy’s more than just a place to grab a bite—it’s a destination...
Read moreUpdate The quality here has really tanked. The servers working drive thru can't get an order right, and the boy who took my last order was not only incompetent but also rude and got an attitude with me because he input my order wrong. My wife and I used to like this place but it's just not worth the hassle anymore
Now that the rush has died down, I decided to try Freddy's. I hadn't heard of it before this location opened down the street from me. We all tried the bacon double combos with fries and onion rings. The burgers were tasty; they seem to apply a seasoning before cooking them that gives a flavorful crust. My family got theirs plain while I opted for ketchup and mayo, and the staff was not stingy with the toppings. The fries are proper shoestring and seasoned as well. It's not overpowering, and the fries were crispy on the outside yet soft in the middle. I place them in between McDonald's and Wendy's for fry quality. The onion rings were a soft golden brown, not overcooked. They reminded me of carnival food. I'll likely get the fries again next time I go. We weren't brave enough to try any desserts this time, but next time we go, it could...
Read moreMediocre burgers, cold fries, nice staff. I had the veggie burger combo - a squishy black bean patty, chopped lettuce with a medium shake (13). My wife had the patty melt combo with a medium shake (12). The shakes stood out - tasty and thick in the extreme - giant straws were barely enough, a spoon is appropriate. Consider that they are custard, basically soft-serve in a cup. Thin fries (like Steak-n-Shake's) - so thin it is impossible to serve them hot unless you were to eat them over the fryer. By the time they've drained, they're room temperature. Burger King is better food for half the money (an Impossible burger for half the price of a squishy bean burger). If it weren't for the shakes (2 dollars with the combo, 5 without), I would just give them one star. I...
